  3. Anything not listed in the above questions you’d like to share about your experience with Finasteride?

It was sold to me as a product that was minimal risk and all issues are reversible. However, the more I read the more the stories become tragic, which concerns me. I only took a total of 1mg over the course of 3 days and show minimal side effects, but until they are gone, I will keep an eye on it.

  1. Tell us your story, in your own words, about your Finasteride usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug.

This is my 4 day Diary:

Finasteride Experiment

Day 1: (07Jan2013)
1 took the 1/2 pill at 7:00 PM and it had no side-effect on me until the the following day, Roughly 24 hours later.

Day 2: (08Jan2013)
I took no pill, as I Was on an “Every-Other-Day” regiment of .5mg. However, my first side-effect was noticed at approximately 7:00 PM. It was post intercourse and it felt much like “blue-balls”. I thought that this was what it was due to the time between erection and orgasm. In any case I didn’t think to much of it and went to sleep that night.

Day 3: (09Jan2013)

I took the next dose (.5 mg or 1/2 pill) with my morning vitamin regiment. I cannot recall weather or not there was any testicle pain that morning. I want to say that there wasn’t, but I cannot recall. In any case the pain persisted that day as well. The pain/discomfort comes and goes and honestly seems a bit cyclical. It seems to hurt for about 15-30 minutes and then subsides only to come back another 15-30 minutes later. This continued and that evening I decided to never take the pill again, despite its potential benefits. I also, noticed that I didn’t have any random erections, however this really isn’t common for me anyway, but it is worth noting that there was no random erection present.

Day 4: (10Jan2013)

The waves of pain/discomfort have continued. It does have a bit nervous, but I am assuming that it will subside with discontinuation of the product. One can only hope. The only other side effects that I have noticed have been slightly weaker erections and lower seminal fluid . I can’t tell weather or not it is more watery than normal, but it may be. I never really payed too much attention prior.

Day 5: We will see tomorrow… Stay tuned! I will be open to any discussion as well so feel free to hit me up!

You should not be here you have no persistent side effects. That is what I hope! Everything could get back to normal. But if you get PFS, everything will be worse.

Just my opinion: You should consider to take finasterid forever, because you don´t know if you get PFS and you have already bring you in a state that makes it possible for you to get it. (Think about this carefully) Nobody in this community is able to give you a real good advice. If you stop - god or destiny or luck decides whether you get PFS or not. If you take it forever you will live with side effects that are uncomfortable, but tolarable.

stop taking this poison right this minute . Before its not too late…

Shineyhead,

I can actually relate to your story except I experienced side effects after a single 1mg dose rather than split into separate days. It’s been 2 years for me with off and on improvement’s. Were you able to recover after you stopped taking the drug? We must be an extra sensitive breed.
