14 months partialy recovered and now I am having a bad relapse. Why?

Hi. I am from Argentina. I took finasteride 2 and a half years and I was very happy with the drug (my hair did not fall off and I had a very high libido) until one day my libido went too high and I started having erectile dysfunction.

After a short recovery of 1 week in which I felt normal until I had problems again, I spent 3 months trying things and consulting doctors until the symptoms improved naturally. One day I tried to masturbate and I noticed that my penis was erect even without stimulation, I was really happy. I was happy with this partial progress, even with some sides (change in erection angle, foamy urine and less ejaculatory force). I even thought about telling my story in some forum saying “hey, I can have sex with my wife and I know that my penis will work well”. I have even referred to the PFS in the past tense.

However, this partial recovery lasted 14 months. A few weeks ago I began to feel discomfort in the area of the pelvis, my libido very low and poor erections again. I think I have a problem in the prostate, because after achieving an erection I have to go quickly to the bathroom. I’m quite hopeless and I’m afraid this time will be permanent. I would be happy to be back as I was 2 months ago. That would be enough for me. What happened to me?

Thanks for support

Do not panic. Probably, you have a prostatitis and it is solvable. Do not reach the most serious conclusion.

Thanks for hope!

What makes you think that ?

Is foamy urine attributed to PFS? My urine is always extremely foamy but I never thought it was related

I have foamy urine since I crashed with finasteride. Maybe it`s coincidence, but…

It has been the same for me, not even drinking lots of water affects it.
