geocities.com/bill3320/hormones.html

Js came accross it,not sure if its been posted b4, but will it work for loss of libido and E.D.

got a few other questions also like

1)I want to keep using Topical Spiro for my hair, but is this a wise desicion or could it make matters worse for my e.d?

2)I want to try taking maca root. If this works would i always have to be taking it for the rest of my life (im only 25 btw)

DAMN PROPECIA :imp:

JonA,

The website and the information posted on it is well intentioned by the look of it but it really is so flawed and simply wrong that it is laughable.

I could write a thesis on how it is so so far off the mark but what would be the point? All you need to know is that it is not something you can rely upon.

What you need to do is get an appointment with an andrologist or forward thinking endocrinologist, tell them what you took and how it has affected you and get them to take blood pathology with a view to trying to ascertain what if anything may have gone wrong.

I think you can get all the information on what bloods to take in the pathology section, in any event they are;

LH
FSH
Testosterone and free testosterone if possible
SHBG
Prolactin
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT)
Estradiol
TSH
Free T3
Cortisol (24 urinary if possible)

Check the bloods section or ask the moderators for help to confirm this information.

Once the blood results come back from the doctor, make sure you get a copy of them and the accompanying reference ranges and then you can also post them in the bloods section.

If something is amiss with your hormones then it might be possible to rectify the problem and alleviate or cure the underlying symptoms “might” is the operative word here.

As for the topical use of Spiro, I think Dr Crisler has a view on this and it is something you may wish to ask him about or consult him over if you become one of his patients.

If you need help in obtaining the contact details of an endocrinologist I might be able to help you if you let me know what city and state you live in…

I hope that helps a bit.
