I can understand you so much. I am also tiered of living like that. I am suffering for almost eight years. At the beginning I was confident to get back to the pre-finasteride state naturally after several months. Unfortunately, I have not.
Pharma companies are much stronger than we are. They have an army of lawyers and thousands of employees. We are just a too small group to succeed. Furthermore, they are well organized in contrast to us (we are scattered around the world and it is very difficult to take action).
I am still shocked how cruel and ruthless pharma companies like Merck are. They have ruined my (our) live(s).
In the last couple of months my libido has decreased to completely zero and my erection quality strongly worsened. Even though this should make me psychologically very depressed, I don’t care about it very much any more. I have become indifferent. Seems that I have somewhat accepted it psychologically (perhaps because it is because I am getting older and take things more easily).
What we could at least hope for is decent communication from people who are putting in hard work and research. The whole silence after the Italy seminar is driving me up the wall. Why has nothing been discussed here? Why?
What we can do is continue calling the national drugs administrations like the FDA or the MRHA. The more people call them, the more they become aware of the problem. Also call Merck in your respective countries, even though they don’t have an open ear.

It is even helpful to provide an update if you haven’t recovered in the past year or two since the information the FDA has is incomplete. The FDA recently put out a statement about 5AR’s and prostate cancer so there is a good chance Propecia is on their radar.
Had it been just sexual dysfunction, It would have been much easier! I wish I can get my old self back even without sexual function. I can’t even enjoy my favorite music, nor can I possess empathy or any kind of sociability. If I had ingested 200 mg of any poison on earth (the total amount of Finasteride that I took), I would have already been recovered. Yet they call it “medicine”, approved by the FDA and prescribed by “doctors” for mere cosmetic purposes. The system is corrupt. Don’t expect the system who fucked us to go ahead and seek a treatment for us. They simply don’t care. We are not alone. Look at SSRIs or Accutane victims, who cares? There is money to be made. I submit a report of side effects via medwatch to the FDA 4 years ago, and only got an automatic response. Everyone of us has to seek his own treatment and hopefully, by sharing experiments and thoughts on this board, we can get onto something. Unfortunately, we have no other option at all.
Just my opinion but the social problems your experiencing are a result of the sexual dysfunction. I now have social anxiety an inability to love etc just as yourself. The decrease in energy, libido and satisfaction is very important, as I believe the sexual dissatisfaction is the ROOT of the physical, mental, psychological and social problems.

I agree with you. The system is really bad. They don’t care about us. Even though writing to the FDA seems useless, I would go on with it. Just keep on writing to the FDA every year. If we only write once we will never get attention.
Unfortunately, I think nothing will happen in the near future and we need to help ourselfs.
I think we should use any available medium. I put ad in kijiji ottawa and kijiji tronto. Next I will use ottawa sun and globe&mail news papers.Can some body do the same?. Just run an ad like I did.Here is what I did

you see this is small ad and will not cause a lot of dollars but will get attention of many people.I think we will run thes ads for many weeks.
Sorry Guys I am not trying to be biased against any nation or country but when I came here (Canada) I thought I am here where people are protected like in heaven. But what I learned in eight years this is not true. Here you can do all kinds of frauds a long as you can dodge the Law or know how to use law in your favor and here big companies know this fact very well. End user is oppressed in my country (India) and he is no different here too.

The title of your post resonates with what i am feeling this week. I feel your pain, and i hope it gets better for you. In my case, this drug affected my family very harshly. The psychological toll of this has been specially hard to my mom. She is always concerned with me, and she has a very hard time dealing with the fact that there s nothing to be done medically right now. Every week i spend time trying to calm her down, explaining what is going on, because she wont settle down. She does not always understand, and it is exausting. So now i lie when i am not feeling well, but she knows me, she can tell. She just can t bear this anymore. She s had depression and anxiety problems. My sister deals better with it, but she s cried a couple times when i wasn t feeling well and it breaks my heart to see that.
Sometimes i think how much i ve been through in 5 years of this problem, and my mind wants to make me not believe there are thousands of young men going through this. The actions of this company and the medical system go against the most basic human values, and make me ashamed of being a human being. I always try to stay on the positive though, i created a blog to spread awareness in my country, i try to live the best i can, but all of this does not prevent me from getting very tired sometimes. This syndrome takes a lot of energy, wisdom and patience to be dealt with. I ll pray once more to have them. You guys are in my prayers too.

I agree with you Golf that is why I put it over here. Law is aginst us although many of us are now chemically castrated. we should give a clear message yet save our ass as well.
