Who has discontinued use and restarted?

Have you discontinued the use of Finasteride for more than a week, and restarted?

Over the 14 months usage that I made, I know that would sometimes skip a few doses, and start again. I have also been off for several days (like a week), and then pick it up again.

I’m wondering if this kind of usage could have trigered (or aggravated) PFS.

Answer “No” if you have always followed the dosage and been very rigourous on your usage (1 pill a day, everyday).

Answer “Yes” if you have skipped several doses or stopped for at least a week, and restarted afterwards.

Yes, but not so much as skipping days at a time. I usually only skipped a day if I hadn’t got a chance to refill my prescription. I would also take the pill at random times in the day and was not on a set schedule. I noticed we quit taking fin at the same time, do you notice any improvements since then or is it about the same?

i took propecia for 3 years without any problems,came off it around 3 times in that period for around 5 or 6 weeks and then restarted when I noticed my hair shedding again,still no problems,then I get the idea to buy proscar from the internet and cut the 5mg pills into quarters,anyway I finish my last box of propecia and expect the proscar to be here within the week,it took about 3 weeks if I remember right,that was 3 weeks without any propecia,I felt the rush of dht come back,no problems upto now,the medication arrives and I start on it,about a month later I crash hard,i believe it was coming off it and back on it on a bigger dose what screwed my system up,just when my endoctrine system was coming back online I start pumping even more finasteride into me,somehow my body couldnt take it and crashes,that was about 9 year ago and im worse than ever…
