Which vegetables can we eat without worries?

true. No one ever cured hair loss with carrots and tomatoes. “Maybe” avoid soy products.

I have cut out most veggies that contain 5ar inhibitors lately and have noticed an improvement in condition.

which are your top 5 that you cut out? @moonman1 I’ll give it a go. No doubt our systems are sensitive at this point

Lol, that was nice! I would add up… Eat whatever you want and listen to your body. Different people different reactions to the food.

I am obviously talking about big quantities. I eat products that have small amounts of carrot, tomatoes every now and then, etc.

Probably no one cured hair loss with carrots but it’s fun to see that the whole internet is full of websites talking about stopping hair loss with carrots and almonds :joy:

Guranteed some hippie wrote that shit and I have only read the title. LOL But just goes to show… there is an opinion on everything. The reality is, that just like supplements… no REAL research where millions of dollars were poured into a definite answer.

Overall & sexual?

I just started back drinking green tea. I used to drink it all the time 9 years ago. Isn’t it a 5alpha blocker tho

I drink cold brew full octane coffee and it doesnt seem to bother me as long as I have gotten a reasonable amount of sleep the previous night. Otherwise it makes me a bit manic… but would be for anyone who is sleep deprived.

Corn, Broccoli, Zuchini, Carrots. I’ve also cut out almost everything else with any 5ar inhibitors like any nuts, oils, oats, chocolate, etc. I made a thread with a ton of foods listed 6 weeks ago or so. I think the only thing that may have been incorrect in their was eggs. So I’ve been eating lots of meats, some fruits, lots of potatoes, etc.

@helpisontheway both, but biggest jump is in cognition/energy.

Oats are a 5ari? I eat a bowl of oatmeal every day. Doesn’t seem to aggravate my symptoms, I don’t think.

I eat lots of oatmeal too.

I was advised to drop musli / oatmeal…

I eat Paleo, so I eat a ton of different veggies and haven’t had any problems with them whatsoever. I personally don’t see the point in avoiding 5ari foods because they aren’t extracts like Saw Palmetto for example.

Just avoid the main poisons we all know about, those being finasteride, dutasteride, saw palmetto, accutane, ssri, fenugreek, nettle root. Also there’s some evidence of Lions Mane being a 5ari but I’ve used it before with no issues whatsoever.

In my eight months with PFS, I’ve taken all kinds of supplements and never had any trouble really. The only time I crashed after my initial PFS crash was when drinking too much coffee.

Oatmeal and muesli turn me over there isn’t a hard and fast rule re foods

I developed severe food sensitivities after crashing a second time eating flavonoid rich cacao nibs almost a year after getting PFS. So yeah, antiandrogenic foods are definitely something to watch out for if you’ve accidentally eaten or done something to really aggravate your PFS.

It would be great to have an accurate list of foods to avoid.
I know there is one somewhere but the list of food to avoid is just insane…
