When u took finasteride, u had big improvements in hairline?

In never got to see real results but it stopped my shedding dead in it’s tracks

hair loss stopped completely

Grew shit loads of hair, it got so thick, in only 7 weeks

My hair stopped shedding altogether and ended up going super thick.

It stoped my hairloss instantly completely. Usually, I was told it starts working after several weeks/months. However, for me it really started to work instantly. Regarding my hair it was really fantastic. But I have paid the price for it and now I am impotent for eight years already.

I had reasonably good regrowth, too.

interestng, seems that almost the majority is made of great responders.

REASONS: Genetics

Androgen Receptor CAG repeat length has been found to determine and predict Finasteride response for hair loss treatment.

Also, there is a coorelation between how “well” you responded and the degree of side effects.

Stopped my hair falling out. Cant say I noticed too much re-growth.

It will be interesting to see if DNA tests show we share the same 5alpha-reductase gene, or something.

i noticed significant regrowth in a matter of weeks.

The drug ended up working very well much more quickly than it was supposed to. Within maybe 2 weeks or so a girl commented that my hair looked thicker and I hadn’t mentioned to anybody that I started Propecia, which should tell you something about the effectiveness.

After initial rapid shedding, hair grew back up front and very, very thick. The first time I noticed how thick it became was towards the very last few pills I took (I took roughly 80 pills). A couple of nights later, I looked down and noticed my genitals had shrunken to a size I had never seen before and for the first time in my life they were completely numb with no sensitivity whatsoever. I instantly stopped taking finasteride.

From what I could tell, when my hair started getting thick, is when my genitals began having major issues for the first time ever.

Initially, I went through a rapid shedding phase. So, at time I felt I was trapped. I read that you need to keep taking the drug and let your body adjust to it and then the hair would grow back in after the shedding phase. I was terrified to start the drug, but after I saw my roomate have good results with no side effects, I thought I would try it for a short time just to see if it would work for me. Then after the shedding happened I was trapped into continuing it until the shedding stopped. About six months into it I noticed that my hair was growing in thicker. At that time my girlfriend started to comment on how it was looking good etc. Thats when the side effects started and culminated into stopping the medicine and then the crash.

i don’t know for sure, hair has never been important to me so i didn’t use to point my attention on hair situation too much. but i think i had good results.

So why did you take it in the first place?

it stopped…it worked for real…and also…my hair was getting kinda freaky, like not staright like it used to …7 minths after quitting the drug my hair hasnt been falling out…the quality is just amazing, its straight and very shiny. i think this fucking drug changed my dna…for real…how can a medicine change a hair structure so rapidly?

Some people just do… Given that we apparently had nothing to lose, why not? i was very bothered about my hair loss but i was shaving my head before i touched finasteride and i liked the look but i figured that if i can hold onto coverage up until i am 25 then that would be great. Finasteride seemed like a great idea at the time.

because i didn’t/don’t want to lose my hair, but at the same time i’ve never suffered beacuse of it. It’s like when something is important for you but not very important, i never used to look at me in the mirror too much or considered losing my hair a serious problem like p.f.s. is.

Who cares about hair anymore? for what its worth I don’t seem to be much anymore
