So you have baseline bloodwork taken BEFORE starting Finasteride? Not many men have this, count yourself lucky.

Please post complete bloodwork with ranges, before and after Finasteride, in the Hormones section so we can get a sense for what changed.

So you became hypERthyroid?

Most here find their TSH goes UP to hyPOthyroid levels. What Thyroid medication did he prescribe?

I would advise you to file a lawsuit if things do not recover within the next few months. There is a statute of limitations in most countries of 2 yrs to make a claim.

Either way sounds like if you have some morning erections and libido coming back, this is a good sign. Hopefully it continues.

Pre propecia I was hyPERthyroid (too much thyroid hormone being produced). Now I’m hyPOthyroid (too little being produced). This is due to thyroiditis, and not caused by propecia. Although, having a messy thyroid can exacerbate drug metabolism.

So do you think your problems are related to finasteride or your thyroid?

I’d say the sexual problems are all related to the propecia.

I’ve been treated for thyroid for about one and a half months and I have not noticed a correlation between sexual improvement and thyroid.

Propecia is a nasty drug.

So… just masturbated (I know, thanks for the details)… BUT

About 6 hours before, I took 10mg of Yohimbine (quite a high dose). At first, it made me SUPER stimulated, like, if any college students are out there, identical to the feelings of snorting an adderall when studying for those finals you just realized were the next week… so I felt SHITTY. Way anxious, way anti-social, very awake, tremors.

So after about four hours, I thought to myself, “okay, fuck this, I’ll never get some sleep being this stimulated.” So I went ahead and popped 1 mg Xanax. This calmed me down quite a bit and I thought, what the hell, I’ll try masturbating to see if the Yohimbine was worth it at all. Sure enough, I was able to get a rock-hard erection. I haven’t tried Viagra, but man, if Yohimbine did that to me, I can’t believe what Viagra would do…! And not only that, I was able to ejaculate super well and felt an awesome orgasm. Not only that, but pre-propecia, I used to like getting close to climax, but stopping right before climax to get that build-up sensation–and this was the first time in months I was able to do it.

I don’t know… maybe Yohimbine is worth checking out 'cause, I seriously just had the best feeling I’ve had for a long time.

And Yohimbine… I’m mixed about it, I tried it once, experienced TERRIBLE side effects, but the sexual effects were pretty fucking strong. If you can tolerate the side effects, than I’d go with it.
