I’d be interested to know how your sleep was when you were at your worst from fin induced damage to how and if it has improved since you started T replacement therapy. I know from own experience that my marked improvements mirrored improvements in sleep.
Also, and please do not take offensive to this, but do you feel T has allowed a true 100% recovery in terms of mood, concentration, energy, etc? If it simply has slightly raised your libido and given you the ability to perform again then I wouldn’t be so sure. Granted these may not have been problems for you previously. I would also be curious about your ejaculate volume if your testes have shrunken so much? Do you feel that it is the same as before propecia?
sorry to bother you with the questions but I think many guys on here would want to know these things. I myself have thought about running a cycle of T or Masteron before but haven’t gotten around to it as of yet as I’m very content with my situation. Also, before everyone goes out blasting him for the high amount of T he’s taking, let us not forget this

If you read the study on rats it actually concludes that T raised the 5-AR 2 activity more so than even DHT or something along those lines. Either way, if a doctor is having success treating men with post propecia problems using supra amounts of T then it’s something to take note of. Congrats on your recovery though Dustin. Wish you the best in health.

thanks for the response dustin. I know you said before that high TRT alone did not work for your ed but I do remember saying it did in fact raise your libido even at lower doses which I found interesting. best of luck

Not on TRT or anything, but I can definitely relate to this. I’ll feel horny, even achieve a pretty good erection without too much trouble and then just have it deflate within as little as a minute of penetration. I wonder if maybe varying levels of testosterone explain my varying libido, but maybe the difficulty of actually maintaining an erection comes down to DHT and NO… Cialis affects the latter, does it not? Just a thought from someone who, admittedly, isn’t as familiar with the science/details of this condition as many others here (DHT and NO are connected, right?). For what it’s worth, the brief period where I felt 100% recovered for several days was marked by symptoms of returning DHT, such as a sudden/sharp increase in hair loss (hairs on palms in shower)… it’s as if, for no apparent reason, my DHT suddenly came back online and then the NO followed, allowing me to actually maintain strong erection… it was actually quite shocking.
On a related note, if anyone knows a decent online pharmacy where I could get some viagra or cialis, I’d be really grateful if you could pass me the link via PM. I’m doing what I can to live healthy and wait out some sort of natural recovery, but I’d love to be able to have normal sex when I want it, even if just once in a while… I miss the feeling of actually being able to preform and meeting my own expectations.

At any point and time did you try taking a supraphysiological dose 1x a week? Remember we are trying to reactivate 5 AR II.
I think you needed to give this some more time…

Hey,
Yes, I still have massive issues, even when taking 150mg per day. I have noticed the following:
- The more Proviron I take, the better my erections and the better I feel
- The more Arimidex I take, the better my erections and the better I feel
- I certainly require 250mg T per week to feel vaguely normal (now that I have stopped HGH). On 150mg T per week, I feel AWFUL and start crying at work.
It is interesting that you noticed improved ED, less water retention and hair loss on Proviron. These changes fit the science. There could be a very real reason for you NOT improving with increased Proviron. I think your E2 is FAR too high. Proviron frees up Testosterone, and you’ll be getting more aromatising to E2, offsetting and opposing the DHT action of Proviron. (E2 and DHT compete).
That’s the problem with your current TRT regimen, Dustin. There’s no E2 control there. Arimidex would be the first thing I’d add to your regimen. You’ll get a E2 lowering effect (and therefore DHT releasing effect). It wouldn’t surprise me if you felt worse after stopping Proviron than before using it (due to added E2).
You need to control your E2 first and see your 500mg per week T as a stepping stone to using DHT agents (Proviron, Drostanolone).
Bear in mind I find Proviron very weak, but my E2 is well controlled and I notice a bigger improvement with the MORE Proviron I take. I think you should wait for Drostanolone reports from this forum as well, from those individuals (ie) myself, who are on TRT for life AND have their E2 under control.

JN,
Is armidex similiar to tamoxfen? Can you take Proviron to increase DHT, and tamoxfien to keep Estrogen/Estradial under control?
Arimidex is anastrazole. It is an aromatase inhibitor (prevents conversion of T to oestrogen).
Tamoxifen is an oestrogen receptor blocker.
But yes, they have similar effects. I prefer Arimidex.
Yes, you can take Proviron to increase DHT and arimidex to keep E2 under control. That is what I am doing currently. I (and I think we) need a stronger DHT tho.
My comment to Dustin is that Proviron, whilst it is a DHT (albeit weak), it has a strong effect in the liver to reduce SHBG, thereby FREEING up T. More free T means more will be converted to E2. So it’s a juggling game, especially when E2 is going to be high from 500mg T per week.
The aim of Drostanolone is to blast one’s 3AdiolG to ‘high normal’ (which is what Proviron seemingly cannot do, as it is too weak). Then one can reduce T to normal doses per week (ie) 60mg per week, and need never worry about high E2 again.

thx dustin…congrats on feeling normal:) how are your erectinos without cialis?
Hi Dustin
how are you dealing with water retnention. I have been on Agel but Water retention was having nasty effects. It made my body biger and sluggish, hard to walk and move.
…
dustin,
I’m thinking if your Estrogen is up a bit you may want to take a low dose of armidex…that could possibly improve erections without cialis. Gotta be careful you dont lower estrogen too much…I think 20 is the sweet spot for Estradial.
