golf17331 we are all suffering and not here to win an argument. Please stop making negative comments. If you don’t like or disagree just ignore them but your tone is very unaccepable.
I think I am missing something. you stopped fin in 2003 and your T was 4.8 till last fall and just in one year it got to 20 nm/l.Is that correct?
if it is correct did you use any clomid or Nolvadex? what date you took last blood test?
Striken - my goal is not to get into an argument - but the fact is that when people treated with direct test supplementation do not sometimes feel recovery, it demonstrates somthing more complex then just a testosterone issue. I just want to make it clear. Since this is type it can come off as “mean” or “direct”, but message boards are infamous for having that type of tone.

you are not giving any new information. Now every body knows that T is not the only variable.
There are 2 groups of Ex-users.
1-still having problems with normal or high T level.
2-hypogonadal with low LH and low T. we don’t know yet whether brining normal T would solve their ED problems but these people are having more physical problems like joint pain, fatigue, poor eye sight etc. than the first group. Bringing T to normal level will be the first step. I have seen over here some hypogonadal users went on TRT and felt better while other did not.
I think you belong to first group and are desperate for your libido. you have no idea about the sufferings of hypogonadals. Now don’t suggest me to go on TRT. I have done that and while felt great for first few weeks but got other problems.
Hi
I want to know how ur numbers climbed all of a sudden. did u take clomid or Nolva? since till last fall they were 4.5 ng/l and then they started jumping untill reached 18 or 20. could you please explain.
I have no clear idea why my testosterone levels increased since last fall. No, I haven’t taken any drugs to boost the levels (no TRT, clomid or nolva).
I stopped taking finasteride in 2003 and never had my T level checked until a hematologist ordered the test in the fall of 2009.
Some possible explanations for the low levels (aside from finasteride):
During the summer of 2009, I was training very intensely for a sport that involved a lot of endurance. Maybe I was going too hard and not eating enough. I also wasn’t sleeping so great. In the fall, I suddenly had to stop the training to go back to school. I was feeling really horrible (stressed, anxious, depressed). This might have contributed to the low T, although I’m fairly confident my T levels jumped quite dramatically while taking finasteride then plummeted . I had an interview with Dr. Irwig today and told him about the changes in my facial hair and facial structure and he asked for “before and after” pictures. Looking at the pictures, the changes are, to me anyway, quite dramatic. I had pretty thick facial hair before, then while taking the drug I lost a lot of facial hair and I just looked like I’m full of T (brow ridge, cheeks bones expanded and jaw sticking out). The “after picture” is also pretty dramatic (quite a reversal). The affects of tinkering with these hormones for 18 months is quite astounding to me.
Some possible explanations for the increase in T are:
I started supplementing vitamin D
I started doing some gym workouts (mostly circuit training)
I guess you didnt have any sexual sides from Fin, did you? Anyways, did you experience any change in erections with such big testosterone changes? Better/Consistent morning wood or anything?
Unfortunately I had significant drops in libido, ejaculate oozed out a clear liquid instead of shooting out solid white… More details can be found above.
Surprisingly, I haven’t noticed any major changes with the increase in T. My libido is still basically nonexistent, but may be slightly increased. I almost never have a morning erection.
Oh, another possibility for the increased T from last fall was I began (forced myself) to masturbate a few times a week, although it seemed more like a chore. Before this I basically had no sexual activity at all for a long time. After starting this routine I actually did notice a rare erection when waking in the night. I supposed I’m lucky in the sense I haven’t had major erectile dysfunction.
human body is very unpredictable. People take a lot of junk to increase their T and then come back to the start point. I will say you should do nothing ( don’t take any med). Maybe one day u will get ur libido back.
U had T level at 4.8 which is very low and you did not have any ED surprisingly.
Did u feel any testicular shrinkage at 4.8 and any improvement now?
also what is ur Vit D dosage?
What is the multivitamin supp you are taking? I am on 5,000 IU Vit D (was on 10,000 before), it does seem to help. But I need to find a quality Multivitain supp. I had taken this supp before ( numedica.com/FreeAccess/Prod … name=NM161 ) and I guess it did do some good. I had stopped it because it had some fancy stuff in it, like saw palmetto etc.
please let me know.
1000IU is just normal dose for normal people. I can now say you r healing just naturally. I asked the quesion on the forum few weeks back about any guy who healed naturally (I mean his T got back just naturally) and I think I have found the answer.
I would say u r very very lucky that at such a low T you did not feel
any Testicular shrinkage
no Ed
no physical problems.
where as I had my T at 8 and I was feeling weight loss, fatigue, Ed and cold hands and feet etc.
so there is hope. I will wait for months or years before going to jump on TRT, maybe would get my T back.
