I just found out today that its propecia to blame for my recent sex drive.
“ok” I thought, I’ll just cut off and everything’ll be honkey dorey in a weak or so right?
Now I know that I may have permanently screwed my body and I’m tearing myself apart.
Please. What are the odds that these side effects are going to stay with me? I’ve never been more terrified in my entire life

It’s likely the vast majority of men do not have longterm issues from the drug, and thus odds are in your favor things should return to normal in coming weeks/months per the manufacturers’ claims. If you find they do not, or things get worse in that time, then you should consider investigating further. However, worrying yourself will simply cause unnecessary anxiety about things… try not to worry, as most likely things will be fine. We are in the minority here.

I think he just quit today. As Mew said, odds are in your favor you wont become “one of us”. In the meantime dont drink too much alochol, use illegal drugs, do not masturbate too much, eat well, get as much sleep as you can, etc. Try to put your body in the best position you can for recovery. gl

Hang in there, you just quit. Give it a little time, you may be one of the lucky ones. Eat healthy, keep stress to a minimum and get a lot of rest.
One other thing, If your hair starts falling out again you’re likely returning to normal. Whatever you do, don’t panic and go back on the drug. I did that and still wonder had I not gone back on the poison if I would have recovered.
