Stop Propecia start Revivogen

Not trying to advertise or anything, if you feel this is one please delete it.

I am slowly lowering my Propecia dosage and getting off it.
Propecia did start to grow my hair back, so im trying to keep it that way for when DHT returns into my system.

I recently bought revivogen.

The way it works its supposed to only work in the scalp and inhibit DHT from bonding to the follicles.

Direct Quote from their website:

“Revivogen™ is a topical formula made of natural active ingredients that have been scientifically proven to be the most potent anti-DHT compounds known today. Revivogen™ Scalp Therapy works by decreasing the levels of DHT in the scalp. This allows the hair follicles to rejuvenate and produce thicker and stronger hair, creating a fuller and healthier head of hair”

To me this treatment makes sense. Target the area you want treated instead your whole body.

I began Applying it to my scalp today and will update once Propecia wears off.

 I am wondering if any of you guys have any experience with it and its effectiveness.

Well, I doubt you will get much response here since this isn’t a hairloss site or really meant for men that are still on the drug… but if you head over to hairlosshelp.com or hairlosstalk.com you will find guys that have much more experience with Revivogen.

Obviously if one could halt hairloss with topicals and not have any systemic effects, it would be great. But it seems some form of internals that bring down DHT are also needed in the long run, wether that be natural or pharmaceutical.

Unfortunately Finasteride is one such internal medication that, while it is capable of regrowing hair and slowing hairloss, can have a host of nasty side effects that go along with it for some men.

Good luck with your decision to come off the drug, keep us informed if you have any issues after discontinuation.

Direct quote from Merck website:

In clinical studies for PROPECIA, a small number of men experienced certain sexual side effects, such as less desire for sex, difficulty in achieving an erection, or a decrease in the amount of semen. Each of these side effects occurred in less than 2% of men and went away in men who stopped taking PROPECIA because of them.

So, if this forum is in fact correct, all website quotes aren’t legite.
