I have read that a reduced daily dose - .5 or .25mg has similar effects on hair loss. has anyone experienced a reduction in side effects by reducing their dosage?
i recently stopped propecia due to severely reduced libido (its not back to normal) and dont want to start again unless there is a way to reduce this side effect.
anyone out there given the above a try?
No, drug has near flat dose response so doesn’t matter if you take 0.25mg or 5mg, it inhibits nearly same amount of DHT.

Only way to “reduce side effects” is not to take it / not inhibit DHT.
Nobody cares about hairloss here anymore, btw, but if you still want to continue on Fin 1mg, cut it into as small pieces as possible (ie 8ths – 0.125mg – or 16ths).
