I really want to participate but am afriad if I do, and they start digging to discredit the study, they’ll be able to see my medical history. It really irks me that I cannot help out here…

CD is there something you don’t want to share with Dr. Irwig? I mean, if you have something that precludes you from the stated conditions then don’t do it. However maybe it’s a decision for Irwig to make if you tell him the whole story which takes the burden off your shoulders.
No, I’ll share anything, but the study parameters clearly state that if you took any medication or were treated for anything else during your stint with fin, it precludes you from the study. I took some antibiotics for lyme disease during my time with fin. This, by very definition would keep me out of the study…

If I were you, I would let the doctor decide if that makes your input worthless. Schedule the appointment, tell him everything and he can decide if he wants you in. The more people he has the stronger the study is.

I did my phone interview with Dr. Irwig. He needs about 20 more guys to get to 50. Everyone should do this, it is quick and easy and it will bring attention to this horrible drug.
