Yeah, this. It’s not because they’re afraid of anything. They’re just not selling the drug nearly as much since the generics took over. I would assume that most people taking the drug are taking generics at this point–probably won’t help our case with litigation…
Shouldn’t effect the case, in any regard, the political climate is changing. Drugs can hurt people, people know it. It doesn’t help the world or economy to destroy the lives of young, productive young men.
This is why I don’t think Merck are really that bothered about litigation. I was watching a documentary called FEDUP, it’s about how American kids are being fed junk food at school and becoming obese. Anyway, to combat obesity one State decided to ban pizza from all it’s school menus. The pizza company said that pizza has tomato paste on it. They then got a Senator to lobby this fact and the pizza was reclassified as a fuking vegetable. The State then allowed pizza back on all it’s school menus and the kids continue to get fat. Imagine what power a 150 billion dollar drug company can buy. The Propecia website may have been shut down because the website contract was up or it had passed a certain point in it’s marketing cycle and the drug no longer needed to be aggressively marketed in this way. The US government says Muslim backed terrorism is the biggest threat to the West whereas I say this is bullshit. The Corporations are fuking up more lives in the West and make terrorism look like an after dinner mint. Worst of all they are doing it right under our noses with Uncle Sam’s blessing.

As those who know me well know I agree with this 100%. The biggest threat to mankind isn’t terrorism. Its rampant, cuttthroat capitalism, destroying the lives of millions just for a handful can get super rich. And those who are suppose to be protecting us… the FDA, FBI and other regulatory agencies are only benefiting the corporations doing the evil themselves.
