We can rule it out as a cause. [That paper] correlated symptom frequency with different repeats in the AR, so while differences in the AR CAG repeat may be involved with the frequency of certain symptoms between patients, it’s not a cause. That would be expected as the cag repeat affects sensitivity to androgens in everyone anyway, so if some ar mediated issue is at play it’s no surprise
