Possible treatment

After reading a lot on this forum I have seen quite a few people who have recovered (even after crashing) from either intense workout regimens that lasted for months (and are ongoing) or clomid + thyroid treatment to boost metabolism.

Its clear that simply raising testosterone is not helpful.

This makes me think that we need to boost testosterone and metabolic rate. I don’t know if this is a cure, or a treatment that helps our bodies recover. Either way, the following people have seen positive results with intense exercise or Clomid +t3/t4 (not sure which one yet): blunted, mlevyholden, chi, cgj1, Dury, m_81 (not recovered but doing well)

Let me know what you all think of this in terms of possible treatments that may possibly help some of us. I plan on talking to my doctor about this.

People please post…

It seems boston 332 tried clomid + t3 without success. Any other stories?

adding fuckfin to the list so…

Thyroid and/or clomid
cgj1
dury
fuckfin
m_81 (improving)

But seems like you better have a good doc or know what your are doing.

Labrea used clomid and made big improvements from a terrible crash.
Whether or not it was the clomid though is unclear. Certainly his T levels jumped a lot then came back down again. He had severe fog, muscle loss, total ed and no libido and now only has mild ED (compared to most of us).

he has not cured, he has said that. only his T rose after clomid use which is not mystry and can happen to any one who uses it. But always over times T comes down. this is very big misconception that clomid is a cure.

m_81 is under treatmen and his recent posts show he is coming down again. his case is similar to JN, he has been cured many times.
If you go back and read to.robin (when he started his TRT) you will notice he also seemed to have recovered many times.

about cgj1
his last post is on August 31,2011, obviously very recent, so we don’t know if he can laugh best 3 - 6 months after.

fuckfin’s case is interesting. he did not come back ,we don’t know about his conditon.
Dury
I don’t know where he claimed that he is cured.

I believe that exercising is very important, especially if you’re on TRT or using medications which raises the testosterone level. I feel a lot better after working out. It’s like stirring the hormones in your body, and it helps to control estrogen, as it’s important for building muscles as well. It’s ridiculous how weak my muscles get when the estrogen level is too low.

I was on clomid first then did the t3 cycle right afterward. So to be fair I wasn’t on both at exactly the same time. Some have speculated that t3 and clomid at the same time might work better. I did a “Wilson Cycle” per Shippen with t3. You cycle up micrograms until your body temp gets in range, you stay on it for a period of time then you cycle back down. I could never get my temp up into normal range even taking 2 or 3 times the doses of t3 we thought it might take.

can anyone explain why t3 vs t4? would it make that big of a difference?

and boston, are you going to try going on both at the same time?

I don’t see how that would be helpful. Taking low dose clomid over time should boost serum T levels regardless. While the t3 cycle should boost your thyroid in theory regardless. Doing them together or independent shouldn’t matter. Not ruling it out and obviously at this point I’d try anything as long as it had a least a toe hold in science. Will be seeing Shippen soon so will be interesting to hear is opinions on whats been going on over the last serveral months.

I thought I read somewhere that Shippen was trying boosting thyroid and testosterone at the same time with his patients. I could be wrong.

Either way thanks and please keep us updated.

Yep, I’ve temporarily recovered completely (or almost) in many different occasions: by taking zinc (10 days, 2009), clomid (6 days, 2010), pregnenolone (5 days, 2011), T3 (on top of pregnenolone, 3 days, 2011). That doesn’t mean, I think, that my posts are not credible or that my experience should be neglected, if that’s what you meant.

m81, how are you doing now?

Many people have been recovered many times but we know recovery did not last and also recovery was not 100%.They only got some improvement. I am in the same boat too.
No I did not mean your posts are not credible.

When you mean recovery do you mean penile fullness comes back? that feeling between your legs when you get an erection? coldness goes away? all that etc?

Yes. Apart from sensitivity and testicles tucked up more than pre-fin, for me EVERYTHING slotted into place for around 1 week, then slowly ebbed away, though not as bad as before.
