Placebo effect of propeciahelp.com

i dont regret. this forum makes me feel like shit more than i feel.

we are killing ourselves while communucating eachothers.(labs, tests, recovers, stories…etc)

Yes and no -when you are at your worst, posting and receiving followup from other going through the same thing is incredibly helpful. I post all the time when in a bad state. If I have couple good days I stop coming to the boards. Maybe that is why we hear less from people making slow but steady progress

Couple times I have had some really bad thoughts which I have to think are just from fucked up hormones but believe me I was glad this site was there. You do not want to be facing this by yourself…

If it makes you feel like shit, then stay off it.

Those who need it will continue to use it at their own discretion.

It’s voluntary to come here. If it’s not helping simply don’t click, it’s that simple.

I understanding reading some things is like a punch in the gut. But remember without the forum there would likely be no aweness, lawsuits, research programs, etc. Sometimes better understanding things can be therapuetic. If you need to take a break do so. Things are moving but we all know this is going to more a marathon than a sprint.

I’m very happy I found this site. Without it - I would be wasting money on doctors visits trying to figure out what I’m going through. And it helps to read how other people deal with it. Anyone who has gone through this shit is a friend of mine.

IMO it’s a huge dose of reality and some of us aren’t equipped to deal with what this drug has done to us. For some it’s better to not know.

Yes…this site is a boon and curse at the sametime …

i can definitely say i have no placebo effect from propeciahelp.

Same, in fact I find it laughable that others “do”.

I was in a shit state for 5 years. In the one year I have been here I have learned and healed more than I did in the previous 5. Also knowing that research is being conducted and plenty of members are doing everything they can to improve our situation is a breath of fresh air to me.

The thing about propeciahelp.com is that you always hear the worst of the worst, which can be a negative influence. Some people recover naturally fairly quickly, some people stay screwed for years & years, some people kill themselves it gets so bad.
The main thing to remember when reading this site, is that your case is completely and totally unique, and so you can’t really get a good idea of what to expect.

I think the biggest positives from this site are the attention it gives the issue, the support from other sufferers, the diet/exercise advice, and just the general wealth of information on the issue.
I check here periodically to see if there have been any new developments, such as this new GHB thing that seems to have potential. I’m actually planning on going to a sleep clinic soon, in order to see if I can land a Xyrem prescription – because of this site
