New 5 alpha reductase inibhitors comming

Was surfing the internet and saw that two new inhibitors of 5 AR are coming, and Epristeride and turosteride by GlaxoSmithKline. Epristeride will be approved for Prostate, Hairloss and acne, he is non-competitive inhibitor:

If the drug is to be approved, it will also be there Post Epristeride syndrome? :unamused: :laughing:
I think if we suffer PFS, we are a minority, and that in fact finasteride just fired the trigger of a problem that already existed in our body.
Heard comments that people who took much antibiotics in childhood, had emotional trauma are susceptible to PFS, and then “dropped my file” because I suffered from both problems in childhood, I had a difficult birth, and suffered from severe kidney problems , which led me to take many antibiotics. I think it’s time we stop blaming merck.

Dude, what is wrong with you? Even if Merck didn’t know, now that information is spreading and research is underway they still deny persistent side effects.

And I don’t know what the hell your talking about with regards to antibiotics.

I was healthy as a fucking horse before I took Fin. In fact, Fin was the first prescription drug I ever took. Now I have a fucking numb penis, no libido and little to no ejaculate. Who should I blame for that? I can promise you it wasn’t that way before I took Propecia.

And Why so few people have PFS?

I met more than 50 people who use finasteride and dutasteride and none suffered from PFS. To me it seems that we already had endocrine systems “fragile” and finasteride was the trigger to give the problem. My father used to dutasteride BPH since 2004 and have no problems. The problem is that whining will not get help at all, but worry about getting in because that happens to us.

Don’t forget, I was a 9 year user!! If you had told me about sexual side effects 8 years after I was using I would have laughed at you. I was great with no sides for years!!

No, i have PFS too persistent side effects since april 2012 Coming out so slowly as to be ridiculous. Rather than complain and revolt, I try to understand the problem in all its issues. Why suffer from this problem, and why can solve it. Keeping calm is the best solution for now. Staying crying and complaining will not change anything. And like many I’m losing the “love of my life” for the fault of PFS. However the oiliness of my face coming back, what got me happy. I already knew of the possibility of persistent side, however wanted to use the drug for baldness for me was and is something unacceptable. For suffered many rejections from women because of the lack of hair. Womens say that to my face: i dont like bald men. And even a friend of mine said that all her friends hate them bald and that at most want their money. At 14, 15 I had a beautiful long hair, all the girls loved to stroke, I pick up a lot of girls at this time. This is as frustrating as the PFS.

just a bit of friendly advice, since according to you we both suffered the same awful fate from using finasteride… i used the shampoo you mention in your tagline (minoxidil) literally hundreds of time before i ever touched finasteride, and experienced no negative side effects, whatsoever … however, i used it ONE time after my original finasteride crash, and it caused me an instantaneous and incredibly violent CRASH in which i was bed ridden for days and days from severe brain fog and body pain (do not even get me started on the destruction of my genitals)… obviously, we are all different, but that shampoo had a very bad effect on me the one time i used it after quitting finasteride, so be careful with what substances you put onto or into your body

also, stop complaining about your hairloss, it is not nearly as bad as having pfs and your saying that is very, very insulting … makes me think you have no clue what it means to have pfs … if you are going to post here, do not say stupid shit

Minoxidil give me hairgrow , and i not bald Appear more baldness, And look, a girl of 13 years to an interest in me. I had success with the girls at age 15 as it was hairy, after the hair was shit all rejected me and kept looking at my head. . Do not know how is his case, but I’m able to recover slowly after 1 year and a half of hell. I used lotion of minoxidil 2x day not shampoo.

i was not being rejected due to hairloss, i was simply a little self conscious about it is all … and look where that got me

you are correct, minoxidil is another name for rogaine i beleive, the shampoo i used must have had a very similar name and if i can remember it i will post it … but make no mistake, it did not mix well with my issues post finasteride at all, and it was a seriously frightening experience

again, stop talking about your hairloss, it has no relevance in being cured of our issues from finasteride

I was saying that I was very rejected cause lack of hair ( not you). I started minoxidil in april. And today my symptoms of PFS decreased significantly, ie not hear interference, so that four days back the oiliness of my body and a small improvement in libido. I went User finasteride 5 mg day, unlike most of the people here is only 1 mg. Including minoxidil is being used for vasodilation and improves erections is even being patented for this. That I’ve been to open a topic of my recovery in recoveries, but the admin change not allowed for not being a full recovery.

Did anyone actually read the Wikipedia link this guy posted? He may have actually done all of us a favor. This “new” 5AR drug is not “new”, and its launch is not imminent. In fact, the drug is dead in the water. After much investment, and making it as far as Phase III trials, the link says the drug was suddenly pulled, and all marketing was stopped. Hmmmmm…why would that be? I would LOVE to have a look at some of the research done during the clinical trials of this drug.

I tried womans with all ages, all with 30 and 35 too, and she´s hated bald guys. This is terrible, This is a false hope, Optimism are lies told to keep betas men working believing that one day things will change. I do not want a woman fat, greasy and ugly, I want to be flattered by all the beautiful women as formerly. Baldness is and will always be seen as ugly(This is up on instinct),we have to recognize and stop deceiving. My mother even said that when she was young bald hated, and at that time my father was hairy. My mother had asked about it for the customers of his shop: and all said the same thing, for me the womans said the same. PFS is just one problem that stops you from masturbating or go to the brothel.
The loving life for: balds, uglys and shorties men is illusion. We all know that all women have several guys calling them, Why any of them would choose a bald ugly, when they can choose a handsome hairy? For me it is very obvious.

Another example: My grandfather is bald and ugly, but had money, however, It was stolen by all the women who passed on his life. All just wanted your money, Everyone here realize this, only the stupid of my grandfather who did not. Propeciahelp = Who had side effects with finasteride does not want recognize about the situation of difficulties loving that bald mens have;

*Both are wrong and acting on instinct, without worrying about the truth.

I was an advocate of finasteride, but I recognize that today it has its risks ( much drugs have), but I’m not acting angry, like you. Think calmly and fair: The risks are already in the drug leaflet, risking anyone.

They weren’t in before April 2011…almost 3 years after they were on the leaflet in Europe. This is what most of us read…

i suppose if you want to talk about hairloss one should go to a hairloss site,this site is about finasteride side effects obviously,i recently joined hairlosstalk.com,there is a section on there about finasteride sides,people asking advice etc,i made 8 posts giving people advice about fin sides telling my story and confirming the sides are very real and generally just spreading the word of the dangers of using fin,i didnt see any problem in this as it is a discussion site but i was banned off there after two days,as for us all knowing the dangers before taking fin,thats pure rubbish,i still have my last half full box of propecia from 6 years ago with leaflet inside,it cleary states that any side effects will go away after stopping taking the drug,if there was any warning of permanent sides i certainly wouldnt have taken the stuff in the first place…

i started the drug at the end of 2010, and there sure as fuck was no warning, or i would not have touched the shit … this includes the prescribing doctor, the scum of the earth merck, and their filthy whore the fda … every one of them stated that side effects would disappear, not to mention the fact that they either grossly underestimate the severity of the side effects, or they just did not bother to mention them at all

absolutely, positively NO FAIR WARNING !!! this was the end of 2010!!!

Many problems are discovered after years of drug use, this is common. My mother took a drug for 10 years which left her with irreversible damage to stomach, and friends who take them more time had no problem, this is normal. My father uses dutasteride since much years and no problem.
After 1 years and 6 months  I'm actually starting to return to normal of proscar side effects. I never sought medical for shame. But my case seems to be in fact testicular atrophy( As with users of anabolic). I never lost libido, but felt the ''tool'' does not respond and testicular pain, making it clear that the problem is not neurological. I'll wait another 6 months, if not back to normal, I'll start using Proviron.
