Member "Almostcured" - 15 year recovery story

I agree. Im sure that many guys who experience PIED and happened to take Fin are in this forum instead of nofap unknowingly. I doubt the reverse is true.

Yes, sensitivity is 100% recovered. There were times when I thought it was possible that it was back to normal but now it feels unreal and Im realizing that I was still a ways away in the past. If it was any better than it is now, I might be concerned. It feels perfect. Its a hard thing to objectively measure but I just know.

My orgasm quality didnt suffer to the extent that other men have suffered in this department. Sometimes now, it feels euphoric and other times it feels just good but it always feels normal. I did have watery semen/low volume for a bit in the past. That seems to have resolved. I think once the prostate healed, that followed. It has a slight yellowish tint sometimes but that was prefin as well. Not uncommon.

Its crazy to me that you think this isnt a possibility. Some men have PIED, which presents as similar symptoms as PFS. If those same men take Fin before the onset of their PIED, how would they possibly know which to blame. I think Fin probably exacerbates these symptoms and makes them worse in most cases but its certainly possible that some are just experiencing PIED and not PFS at all. How is this even debatable?

Thank you. I try to avoid habitual porn but engage on occasion for sure. I masturbate probably every other day lately. Sometimes with porn, but I try not to. It seems to have a positive impact on my morning wood when I refrain. Morning wood is pretty regular for me again.

I never made it a full year with nofap. I find it borderline impossible. I would just do my best for streaks at a time. I think the longest I lasted was 3 weeks. But after each relapse, it got easier and easier and I felt healthier. Its kind of like investing in stocks. There are major ups and downs but the trend was up and that was the most important thing. I think if I had more willpower, I would have recovered faster. But it took 15 years for me to get back to normal. Its definitely possible that time was the only factor that mattered in the end for me, personally.

Hello mate! Have you ever had joint issues, like stiff, dry, clicking joints? Any idea how can I overcome this? Thank you in advance!

no way , i highly doubt that. for many here no pmo does literally nothing (me included)

As time went on, I experienced joint pain during lifting only and now it seems to be resolved. It was never unbearable but it was quite noticeable.

Yup, and for many, it may be unrelated. For some though, Im sure it has an impact. Plus nobody seems to be willing to give their body ample time to rest. It takes more than a few months with the damage weve done to ourselves. Im sure it takes much longer for us than your run-of-the-mill PIED sufferer. Dont buy into it? Ok, then keep doing whatever isnt working for you. I could be very well be wrong.

I dont understand why some people think that if you have taken Fin, then you are somehow impervious to PIED, which clearly is a thing. The denial people are in is laughable. Im just here for the guys who are actually receptive to suggestions from a long time sufferer.

Thanks for fixing my account and unsilencing me. Sorry for the violation.

Regarding your 6 months no PMO, I would definitely consider going for longer. Many guys with PIED report only feeling better after a year or 2 and I think you’ll agree that our situation is likely worse than theirs. But I think streaks are good, whether or not you relapse. I tried and failed many times before feeling like I was feeling improvement. In fact, I never lasted more than 3 weeks without PMO. It sucks that we’re forced to guess and hope certain protocols work out but Id say its better than sitting idly by and trying to gain petty moments of happiness with the small amounts of pleasure our bodies can muster. I would try to make a lifestyle change to avoid PMO in general and if you relapse, its just a step backwards before moving forwards again. I dont think relapses reset the problem completely. I wouldnt be pressing this so hard if I didnt think PMO had a serious possibility of keeping us, at least somewhat, dysfunctional.

sry but now it becomes ridiculous again… most people here dont even have the need to pmo anymore because of their loss of libido. and you sound like its a possible cure. wtf ? thats a totally different problem. maybe in your case it was the pmo. than great for you. but for the majority here its not.

and my main problem is cognitive impairment. thats clearly not an pmo issue lol. then the whole world would be destroyed because no one could work probably and read books anymore…

watching p for me now is like watching an animal movie

I wont belabor the point. Suit yourself.

Im not even sure youre listening. My point isnt that PMO caused these problems. My point is that I think it makes things worse, is a catalyst, or draws out out recovery. I listed a novel of PFS symptoms I had and your response is “maybe your problem was PMO” so Im done arguing with you. Dont ask for my advice if youre going to argue with me about my opinions and best of luck to you.

Thanks for the reply, can you point out what increased your T Level,
Vitamin D and probiotics?.

I took vit D supplements- 8000 iu/day
the probiotic was called “prescript” and it can be bought on Amazon. I think last year it was recalled cause it has some legume based ingredients that werent listed but its perfectly safe as far as I know.
As far as T is concerned, I think it was mostly just time. I didnt do anything to target T specifically but I think that fasting and abstinence gave me short term spikes. I think cumulatively, those surges may have helped over time.

Sorry guys. Im not English native.
What does it mean PMO?
Thank you!!

P-Porn

Yeah, it is torture and I never made it past week 3. But I always felt like it helped. If you have a habit of watching porn and you dont even masturbate, that sounds like a stimulus your brain is demanding even independent of libido. I think that is definitely an argument for removing it from your life for a while. See how you feel. You may find it harder and harder to abstain and I think thats always a good sign.
