lowering estrogen or increasing DHT

After reading lots of posts in all sections of the forum, it seems to me that most of the supplements and drugs that people use to try to recover from finasteride aim at either increasing testosterone or at lowering estrogen.

Would trying to increase endogen DHT production help in order to restore 5ar-II activity? Is there any food/supplement that does that?

Yes i think some supplements can help with boosting 5 ar I & II activities

one is creatine, check the link below :

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1974 … d_RVDocSum

The other is dilauroyl phosphatidylcholine (DLPC) “in vitro”
check the link below:

There are also drugs that can do the job like the following link :

Hi;

can anybody supply the full text paper about the creatinine?
As far as I can read DHT increased without affecting testosterone. That could also mean that the elevated DHT derives from a block in its further metabolism and not from an increaed 5aRI/5aRII activity - but I want to read what the authors say about this.

I don’t have access and the authors did not reply yet to my request.

i believe increasing testosterone increases DHT,
but tell me more info about creatine aiding the 5 ar, whered you get this from?

Any luck figuring out anything further about the mechanism of action?
