I would call it morning wood, but it varies…sometimes I will wake up in the middle of the night with an intense, throbbing erection that is so full and steady that I feel temped to masturbate and relieve it but am too tired and/or don’t want to be unable to fall back asleep after stimulating myself. I additionally have intense, vivid and very often lucid sexual dreams (where I am aware I am dreaming within the dream and have hands on experiences where I am in full control) where I can not only feel body parts but have an erection and feel sensations in my genital area like I am about to orgasm. The next day I usually have a bigger buildup of semen than usual, although still slightly watery, and masturbation is a bit easier. Are these good signs that I am still sexually healthy and that the side effects haven’t taken hold that much, or do those effected still experience this type of thing?
Look buddy, you’re obviously still on the drug. If you are concerned, get off.
But to keep posting here while you are taking the medication and then “guessing” wether you are experiencing side effects or not… its pointless. Nobody has the time to handhold you through things. You can read people’s experiences here based on what they’ve been through before you, which should give you plenty of insight into the types of problems you may experience by taking the drug.
You purposely choose to ignore the information on this site, continue to take Finasteride, and then post asinine questions regarding hairloss treatments and “is this a side effect I should be concerned about” type questions over, and over again.
I’m generally a patient guy, but when someone willingly chooses to ingest this poison despite their own concerns, and the medical literature listed here, and the anecdotal reports of numerous other men on this site… it essentially contributes nothing to the forum and only serves to clutter things up.
This site is for men that have side effects continue AFTER QUITTING THE DRUG. So if you are getting side effects and are concered, QUIT and most likely things should resolve. IF THEY DO NOT, THEN this is the site for you.
This will be my last warning on this topic – please do not post redundant questions asked by others before you, do a search… and do not bother asking about hairloss treatments, nobody here cares about hair anymore.
Oh, sorry I guess I didn’t realize this site was exclusively for unresolved side effects post fin. I really thought this was just a general site for information regarding the side effects. I guess I can see how if most people on here aren’t even taking it anymore that would be obnoxious. Forgive me, I’m just a bit caught up in this mess like everyone else was at one point.
Just another shining example of you not paying attention to what’s already been written, in front of you.
Did you not see the big message near top of forum that says the following??
“NOTICE:

The above is in its own LOCKED forum so its obvious. You simply choose to gloss over things and then ask redundant questions.
I understand you would like more info on what the issues with this drug are – and you are free to read as much as you want… but clearly if you continue to take it, and then ask questions about it while you are taking it – don’t expect much help from guys here, or for us to try and “convince” you not to take it, as many have already tried to do (and yet you continue to ignore their advice).
That’s what pisses me off – it’s your life, your choice, but it’s like you want us to keep answering these questions when clearly you have no intentions to stop taking the medication. For us, the damage is done – but if you are content to play with fire, then this site really serves no purpose since you will never know if any side effects experience would resolve until after you quit, anyway.

Well I don’t get that intense horniness much when I’m awake, but mostly when I am asleep…which makes me wonder if I have the side effects and only overcome them in my subconcious or when my body is shut down in sleep mode?
