I think we need to define what constitutes good erection quality for a healthy young man

I have a theory: I think having good erection quality is just like having a lean muscular body with a 6-pack. While it’s not a perfect analogy for our purposes, here’s what I mean:

  • Erection quality is genetic, some men have a better disposition to achieve it.

  • It’s always easier to achieve in your youth, especially in your late teen years where it’s much more common among all men.

  • Most men will lose it as they age out of their teen years and early 20s.

  • Some men are genetic outliers and will retain it to some extent well into middle age

  • It’s not normal among adult men. 85% of men in their 20s and 30s wont have a lean body with a defined 6 pack.

I think some of us may be chasing a dragon in terms of erection quality and libido. I think we need to analyze what should be considered healthy erection quality for a healthy young man.

If you look at amatuer porn, homemade porn and vintage porn, there are some pretty floppy dicks out there; and they appear to be having sex just fine.

I think porn and usual male bragging might have tricked some of us into thinking that we have ED just because our dicks aren’t 9/10 diamond hard 100% of the time during sex. So, disregarding outliers, we should discuss what we think is the normal erection quality for a healthy young man aged 20-35.

I think we need to pool together and create like a visual scale with pictures and videos that shows what is good erection quality, what is normal erection quality, and what should be considered poor erection quality.

So members of the forum, I’m asking you directly! What do you think is ‘normal’ erection quality for a 20-35 year old man? Please post a video.

Alright boys this is how we fix PFS:

Step 1: Post vids and pics of your dick here
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Cure

Jokes aside, what does this help us achieve?

Having BDD, I have an obsession with erection quality and have compared mine to dicks in porn as well.

At the end of the day, I think the up angle diamond penis is not necessary. Now, half the time I have an erection, it “would be able to penetrate” and half the time it wouldn’t. I think this is the main ED test, which means I have ED 50% of the time roughly.

In the old days I always was hard, maybe not diamond hard, and was able to get it up in seconds, and it would do it in its own in the morning. Now it’s quite a challenge

Completely untrue and laughable to assert. Seeing some men in amateur porn films without a rock hard penis is not a population wide study. It’s also true to say that, yes, some young men on rare occasions don’t achieve an erection during sex; that is not erectile dysfunction.

Using your analogy, 85% of men in the 20s and 30s don’t have “good erection quality”? Utterly absurd.

Nobody here with PFS has been “tricked” into thinking they have erectile dysfunction. This is a physiological disease, tissue specific in some cases. Some PFS patients have had bio markers recorded by urologists.

You said in another thread you made

I can assure you that if you think you’ve been tricked into believing there’s something wrong with you sexually, when really, you’re just the same as the population at large, you don’t have PFS, at lease not in the sexual domain. The sexual changes I’ve experienced happened rapidly after very short exposure to the drug, are unmistakable and are dramatic. My penis was certainly not that way for the 32 years of my life that preceded me taking Finasteride.
