Hi all,
I am new to the forum. I am 28 year old healthy male. I have been on propecia for 3 years, mostly on and off. While taking propecia, apart from burning sensation in my penis, I didn’t noticed any major symptoms. There are days where I quit fin cold turkey for a month and then I started taking back (mostly due to no stock). During that period, i never really considered about the symptoms or quitting effects due to lack of knowledge. So, I went back again on fin, and guess i was doing alright. Recently I decided to quit propecia, after experiencing a erectile dysfunction (just before penetration) and premature ejaculation ( due to performance anxiety I guess, not sure) . Then, I made a big mistake of quitting fin again cold turkey. I was fine for first 15 -20 days, cause I never thought about the quitting effect of fin. I 've been without fin for about 30 days now.
Last night, after going through forum, I really started panicking and crying. I couldn’t sleep whole night. My penis has shrunk a lot. Having ED. Tried masturbating this morning, and failed miserably. Didn’t get hard at all. Having that old burning sensation in my penis. Frequent urination. But, a day before last night, I didn’t think anything about the fin, and I actually had nocturnal and morning erection. I am literally crying now for help.
Could someone please explain, what is crashing in terms of quitting fin. Am i experiencing the crash now?
Since, I am new to the forum, could anyone answer my questions…Please.
- Should I start taking fin back after 30 days of quitting, and ween off slowly as explained in several other posts. If so, how to do it.
- Or should I stay focussed and positive and let the body recover from the hormonal changes itself
- Or, should I start taking fin back for another year and then ween slowly.
I am determined to stay positive. But, I really couldn’t focus on anything. At this age, it is really painful to have these symptoms. Respected members, could you please help me with these questions.
