I’ve been taking finasteride for over 8 years with good results and no side effects. I started losing my hair when I was 17 and now that I’m 32 I still have lots of hair, a good liver, a great sex life, etc.

If you mention the words ‘erectile dysfunction’ men immediately panic. And most of the stories published on this forum are in fact pure paranoia - e.g. someone said that Nizoral and H&S can cause hair loss. Yes, loss of libido may be a side effect of finasteride but you seem forget that it is not permanent and only affects a small percentage of users (5%).

I’m sorry if finasteride didn’t work for you guys, but it is working for me and I don’t intend to stop.

Hi, good its all working out for you!

I took fina almost a decade without mayor problems! That is if you dont bother low libido.

If you look at polls at your hairlos site, and see how many people have sides from fina i think, you will find more people having sides, than people who have none.

But for a good deal off people, these sides are not bad enough to stop the medication, sometimes i wondered what would have happened if i would have continued fina.

Problems came for me when i stopped, best thing i,ve ever done!!

And i,ve found this site a year after i stopped fina never knew the details, but all became clear to me afterwords, how would you know it aint permanent, your loss of libido, since you,ve never stopped. Been there done that.
I must say it makes you stronger in the end!

So take your female hormones somewhere else, and go bitching there biatch!!! no pun intended :smiling_imp:

If it’s working for you, great – move along and continue on with your life.

There is no need for you to come here, and claim we are all liars when it comes to ongoing side effects from the medication.

If that is your intention, it will not be tolerated.

I seriously don’t understand why people are such douche bags. Why would anyone in their right mind, come to a site like this and taunt people and just be a fucking dick head in general. I DON’T GET IT?? Why would they care? GET A FUCKING LIFE

I wish serious physical and mental harm on such idiots. It bothers me to the point of rage.

No, I didn’t intend to taunt anyone, I simply thought that this was an Internet Forum, i.e. a place where adult people could discuss ideas and confront different points of view. Apparently I was wrong, so don’t worry, I won’t bother to come back.
