It’s absurd thats why its ridiculous.

  1. Its completely and totally subjective and in no way quantifiable.

  2. It serves us no purpose to talk about hypersexuality for brief periods of time for a small handful of individuals when the vast majority have actual major problems from PFS.

  3. Hypersexuality is not a serious issue, not even really a problem and unless it was happening to every single PFS guy at specific, identifiable intervals it provides no useful information about the condition.

This place is filled with enough non-sense, the ramblings of hypochondriacs diminish all our credibility. To hear this stuff coming from the keyboards of people supposedly over the age of 30 speaks volumes about the intellectual capacity of the average PFS victim.

What are you talking about? You guys are such fucking morons its pathetic. Someone saying they have hypersexuality is as Important as people saying they have low libido. Did you listen to me? Do a such you moron and you will find lots of accounts of people indicating they had super high libido before crashing. You will also have tons and tons of accounts of people having a cycle of exteme low libidio and then huge upward swings of very high libido.

Doing a search will only confirm the fact that there are a host of buffoons running around here, so I see no point in already confirming something I learned years ago about PFS victims.

Yes my flaccid penis is still cold and shrunk 95% of the time. Yes I still have very low libido and feel extremely fucked up.

It says a lot, it could indicate a negative feedback loop, and more. It indicates, as OTHERS, have spoken about that they feel better and worse in cycles. Cycles are important, they can indicate potential hormones that are involved. Every real symptom or key is another piece of the puzzle. I am actually shocked that you wouldn’t think that’s important.

You can test for hormones. If someone had any evidence of this occurring it might mean something. But we have nothing. Also you are focusing on the sexual side effects, they are intrinsically linked with the mental side effects, clearly the entire androgen metabolic pathways have been altered in an extreme way. Until there is some proof in the form of hormonal/nuerosteroids changes going in cyclical periods this is all just speculation. It matters even less now that we have actual scientists looking at our genetic makeup and trying to identify the fundamental reasons that PFS occurs in a subset of men.

So now no discussion of theories or symptoms. Ohhhhh your a blood test guy, since our hormones are normal etc. Well then I don’t believe in PFS because no test as confirmed it, it doesn’t exist

Discussion of theories is pointless if you can’t test or confirm those theories. If you look back through what has already been researched and proposed by others on here, including Awor, you will find we have already far more understanding of the condition than simply comparing feelings of high vs low libido.

I am never said anything about not being able to improve, my mental side effects have improved; they had to or else I wouldn’t be alive right now.

I do not care what you think either, as I have done more for you and all PFS victims than you ever will sitting on here talking about your libido and tossing around non-sense theories without any solid research or comprehension of biochemical processes. How many articles have you gone public in discussing your side effects and the dangers of finasteride used your real name? Let me assume zero. OK, so how many actual studies have you contributed to? But its easier for you to be like all the other spineless people who’d rather talk about their dick anonymously on an internet forum which requires no risk or real effort, when we have other guys putting their whole lives and bodies literally under the microscope for all our benefit and just hoping for the best for all of us.

Fina, Do you think that maybe there is a difference between the guys that took this shit for years and were okay like you… And the other guys that took it for a few days and got totally fucked over. BP has done a ton of shit to get better. It just didn’t help. Why/How does that make him a looser. Now he would like to have some scientific answers if possible. How is that unreasonable? Where is the compassion for those that should be able to relate to each others fucked up condition? That’s what I don’t understand. The mentality that we can solve this on our own hasn’t produced good results.

And yes PRE crash sex was good and normal… About the second week on the drug I felt really good in every way. Probably the brief T increase. It didn’t last very long. Everything in life POST crash has been muted. I think I am past the worst part of this (I hope). POST crash I went through an obsessive period not a hypersexuality period. More like a what the fuck is happening to me… Let me see if I can get things to work again type of obsession.

The crash I experienced… If people didn’t get better from that state of existence the suicide rate would be 100%. So sure people do get better but I still have tons of issues from a pill I took for a few days. And no for me its not on any cycle at all.

Wait, so OP, you are taking T4 right? I remember your thread on it. So now, you are cured it sounds like? I remember you said you can’t get off the T4 or you will start feeling too emotional? So that is another win for T4? Someone else should try it. It sounds like you are cured now? What is the problem exactly?

is there anything else you are taking besides t4 ( for instance t3)? any vitamin, mineral, med etc? or just t4

also, if you could write, what is your diet like, ie normal/paleo/no sugar? and are you doing any sports/fitness/physical activity?

Thank you Sasane. My girlfriend has thyroid issue and she’s paranoid, coincidently she has about a 2 year supply of Levothyroxine 100mcg in the freezer. I halved one pill yesterday (50mcg) took it for the first time. About 3 hours after taking it, I noticed my body temp rose from 96.8 to 98.7, felt pretty good overall. I took the same 50mcg today, i just found it coincidental that my gal had this T4 in the freezer. I’ll keep this going for a month and report the progress.
