How long does is stay within our bodies?

I’ve taken at least 200 pills during a period of a year and a half.
Now it’s almost one year since I’ve stopped taking it.

I just wonder if it’s a matter of time or does this poison already left my system completely and the side effects are just long lasting.

Is there a blood test capable of detecting it?

Propecia’s half life is only 6-8 hours, so it’s for sure out of your system.

The side effects, however, caused by messing with DHT production, can take a lot longer to be mitigated, so it’s impossible to say as every man’s body is different.

Hope this helps.

How is this reconciled with the literature in the finasteride studies section that says the half life for propecia unbinding from the 5ARII enzyme is about 30 days?

the problem is that propecia has gone from our body but the damage is inside

Exactly. The drug is gone. Out of our systems. (Well at least for someone like me who’s been off now for 19 months AND has water fasted for up to three weeks down to my lowest possible weight) The drug is not what’s causing problems anymore. It’s what the drug did to our systems that remains. We are altered, our systems are tweaked and skewed from there natural states. This is why we continue to have problems. The question remains to be answered whether or not we can “untweak” our current situations. I like to believe that given the necessary requisites for life, our bodies will naturally gravitate towards homeostasis. We will see.
