Has anyone here had permanent resolution of thier prostatitis with Cipro?

Thanks for the updates AeroEngr and cantsleep. Glad you both made it out of Cipro/Levaquin side effects within a few weeks. Many recover as quickly, but oh do you not want to be in the boat with those who don’t. Because the side effects can leave one bedridden or physically crippled for years.

I’m following up to confirm that I’ve totally 100% recovered from the experiences I’d had last fall with the knee pain or tendonitis or whatever it was. It took a while but the pain is gone, and thanks to the Clomid and other drugs I’ve been able to build myself back up quite a bit, so I’m near to declaring victory over the physical side effects that I’ve been living with (though my remaining concern is that I have to take Clomid for life; I do not know what will happen to to me if I stop taking these drugs).

Also, I’m looking to see a pelvic floor specialist soon, who I’m reliably informed may be able to help me with the anal/pelvic pains that I’ve been experiencing. Cipro didn’t help at all (and to be honest, I didn’t expect it to help me either; I know this is not a bacteria problem so it must be something else).
