Anyone’s hair continued to recede or fall out? When I was on a semi-high dose of Testosterone (200mg week) my hair was receding at a pretty fast rate.
Does this at all show that Androgen Receptor is working, 5AlphaReductase is working, etc?
Hi my hair is still thinning but I do not have that itchy feeling that I soooo long for, thats when I know that I am getting back to normal, it happened once before but I had not found this website, I took 20 more of those nasty pills, needless to say it got rid of the itch and has not returned since 2 years on. When I took masteron my hair fell out allot but still no activity in my scalp.
I want to be normal again!!!
I don’t think i am losing hair anymore, although it is difficult to tell.
I’m still thinning up top. Also get occasional bouts of extreme (and i mean extreme) itchiness and burning also on top.
Those times usually coincide with little spikes in libido.
The term spike is probably overstating it.
I’m definitely thinning but it seems much slower than I was. Also, my brother was was nearly completely bald by the time he was 22-23, and I’m 28 still with a decent amount of hair on my head. Its becoming more visibly thin but its taken a long time get here. (stopped propecia in 2006)
i have a twin brother and our hair was always failing out at the same rate. Now it is clear his is falling out quicker tha mine. I would say that my hair is falling out less now than when on fine. I too dont get the itchy scalp any more other than recently when it felt it was on fire. This was the same time i chage anti depressant.
Interesting. Fraternal twins or identical? I ask simply because identical twins are genetically identical and should wind up exactly the same regarding balding, etc. It’d be an interesting side by side. Even if fraternal twins, its still intriguing because brothers are likely to bald roughly the same. (that’s what I’ve been lead to believe, anyway)
When i had my first crash, my hair wasn’t falling. After my second crash (which was one month and a half later), it started falling a lot, now i’m losing tons of hair.
Stories like this are what interest me. Doesn’t this mean that you are not insensitive to androgens and your 5ar is working just fine?
My hair has been falling out/thinning at the same rate as it was before I took fin. I haven’t ever had any major shedding phases it just seems to be a slow process. I also have scalp itchiness but not all the time. Also little zits on my scalp in the area where I’m losing hair.
I am not sure how much my hair was falling out prefin. But post fin its not falling out really. On 200+mg of testosterone it falls out fast. And beard seems to grow faster and I also grew more body hair.
*I took finasterid cause my older brother was loosing hair. And I was receding a bit at the temples.

Hairline has not receded much, nor has overall hair loss even with a few rounds of TRT. Oddly my body hair grows longer now, particularly on chest and arms.
