Has anyone actually ever cured propecia induced low free T?

Hi everyone,

This has been a rollercoaster for me. At first when I came off- Terrified. Then I hoped I would recover in 2-3 months. In that time I have bounced back and forth between normal and happy and wildly depressed and suicidal. I’ve even thought I was recovering at one point and posted about it (like an idiot). I finally went to the doctor the other week and he had me run a test for free serum testosterone. He said he didn’t think propecia could have caused it but it may have affected my testosterone levels and if so we could likely fix it.

So I got the test done and they called back a few weeks later and confirmed that I had low Free Serum Testosterone…I haven’t gone in for the follow-up yet as this was just last week but I am going in on Monday. At first I was relieved, we have a source of the problem, my free t is low which at least we can work on…but then I read on here and I am yet to find one person whos testosterone increased over time/with medication…please someone help me out. Has ANYONE cured low T permenantly without having to take TRT for the rest of their lives? I really need some hope because I want to have kids one day and I’m only 25 so I cant do TRT. I need to know this can get better or I may just end it.

Please I do not need words of encouragement or anyone telling me about studies and hope, I need to know, has ANYONE cured or at least improved their testosterone with time or had lasting increases from medication?

Please help.

Thank you,

Brad

User ‘mariovitali’ said that forskolin raised his free test levels significantly, but that wore of, so he concluded that it needs to be cycled. You can try, maybe it could have more lasting effect on you.

Have you thought about natural testosterone boosters? Are you experiencing any signs of low test such as muscle wastage? If I was you, I’d be in the gym lifting heavy.
