I do not have any Pre-Fin blood levels, but would it be a good idea to get blood tests before I taper off of it? Or will it make no difference?
I think its always interesting to c what changes when on Propecia and after you quit. I wish i had test values from before i went of propecia so i could perhaps be able to spot an abnormality in the values.
You have absolutely nothing to loose by getting labs done now and after you quit. Well money but thats completely irrelevant to your health.

YES!
You may go through a rollercoaster and it’s good to have a baseline even if it isn’t pre-fin.
MAKE SURE YOU RUN AS CLOSE TO THE FULL HORMONE PROFILE RECOMMENDED IN THE BLOOD TESTS SECTION ESPECIALLY TEST, FREE TEST, ESTRADIL, ETC. You might have difficulty getting a doctor to agree to all of these tests but the more the better in case you have difficulties.
I think it’s worth doing. I regret not having blood tests from before stopping fin.
It could only help if you could get that done. ALso, I noticed you took the drug for a longer period of time. I might recommend testing your Thyroid T3 & T4 and also IGF-1 and IGF-3 and GH in addition to all of the other hormones listed on the short list.
I also took the drug for long period of time.
good luck, bostonusa
