How did the MRI go?

I’m going to see an eye doc soon. Will post about how it goes. Eyes have been constantly red, and sore. I tried adrenal test on them last night, and they will not dialate at all. I think this is part of the problem, and a symptom of adrenal fatigue discussed in Dr. Wilson’s book, Adrenal Fatigue. Will let you know how it goes.

MRI of brain w/o contrast- Negative
My neurologist gave up on me and sent me away with a script for sleeping pills

I was exploring the adrenal fatigue angle but haven’t really pursued it. Wilson wants you to take a million supplements over the course of a couple of years to get better. If you are really interested in adrenal fatigue, you should look into nutritional rebalancing, cortisol tests, hair mineral tests, etc. Check out stuff from curezone. They do all kinds of crazy shit there. PFS is not adrenal fatigue but could definitely cause it. JN certainly believes so.

I also went to a couple of eye docs. They couldn’t find anything wrong with my eyes other than the tear ducts being screwed up. They blamed it on the lasik but my eye problems are a lot more complicated than that. I have grainy vision, light sensitivity, floaters, etc.

whats your eye problems? Do you have vision problems?

Im asking same questions for you too huhyeahok.

grainy vision/visual snow
floaters
light sensitivity
dry eyes

what do you mean with grainy vision/visual snow? i also have vision problems and the best way i can describe is lots of tiny static light dots imprinted in my vision like ive looked too long in a lamp. when it is a sunny day or when there is enough light in the room it does not bother me. but when it’s night the dots become much more visible and my vision becomes a lot worse. do you have the same problems?

I believe I suffer the same as you described. I would say 10% of my vision is filled with black dots.

My symptoms are same as yours, do you also have after images or night vision problems?

i have problems with light. lights are very blurry to me and smear. this presents problems with after images. at night, headlights from cars makes it seem like i am driving in a middle of a crazy electronic rave when im on the highway

night vision is not great because 10% of my vision is already black

i also have light sensitivity, night vision problems, after images, car lights turning into star shaped disco lights, poor zooming, dry eyes. my vision is also just completely screwed. during a fast i had the feeling that it got much better, but when i was back to eating it got worse again. so think its not permanent

Isnt it like hell? I think its the one of the worst sympton with mental problems. If i fixed my,
Muscle loss on my body and collagen loss on my face,
my mental problems and my vision, i would say im %80 better. I dont fucking care about my penis anymore.

All the symptoms have one cause. Dont be discouraged when some studies focus on the sexual sides, as when they find the cause of these, they will have found the cause of your vision problems etc.

I have very similar vision issues. These are most likely neurological effects. I have been the rounds and my eyes are okay. Only thing left would be the brain and wiring. Its pretty horrific. Along with all the other goodies this one makes life even harder to live.

Ya, I saw an ophthalmologist today to have my eyes examined. She said I just have dry eyes, which actually makes sense and is what I expected because I read that 5AR plays a roll in lubricating the eyes. She recommended I take Optive Refresh. Every day my eyes are blood shot really bad. She said this won’t help the blood shot appearance, but will just lubricate my eyes.

She ruled out glaucoma, and my eye pressure is good.

We’re going to perform a dilation test in two weeks to check out floaters. Will let you know how it goes.

BTW - I also have light sensitivity. See halos in strong light.

I would really like to get one of these functional MRIs. I think that would be a real indicator of what’s going on in the brain, and possibly allow us to zone in on areas that are impacted.

Someone on this site had mentioned amino acid therapy for repairing damaged neurotransmitters. I haven’t done too much research on this, but it sounded interesting. It could be hoaky snake oil too. Not sure.

If they are as dry as you describe ask her for punctal plugs. They can give you temporary ones to try out at first. If they help you can get permanent ones.

Wow that’s exactly what I experienced!
