Feeling better / recovered after stomach virus and puking

I have read a few stories now of people who were very sick and puking non-stop.

One was Mew, who said that he had Norovirus (stomach virus) and was puking non-stop. During/after this he felt 100% recovered for a few days.

The other was “No”

• In 2006 I became ill for a few days (with heavy vomiting). I have had CVS (Cycling vomiting syndrome) my entire life. This is a migraine desease which occurs mainly in children but also in adults. Whenever I get a fever I always throw up heavily every 5 or 10 minutes 24/7 (true hell!). I then use Ranitidine and Primperan to lessen the symptoms. After this episode I felt incredible clear in my head, like before 2003! This lasted at least a few month (maybe longer).

Has anybody else noticed similar effects??

Yes, I already posted this. I had the same effect twice and recovered for a week after I was sick. I didn’t have to vomit but I think I had fever.

Do you know what made you sick? Was it norovirus (stomach virus)?

I don’t think that it was a Novovirus. I think it was just a regular flu. But I remember that I couldn’t eat during that time and that there were some posts of people who said that they recover after fasting. Maybe it wasn’t the flu, but the involuntarily fasting.
