I have been getting better and better, so decided to exercise, after several days i crashed. I wonder whether this is common, or at least anyone experienced that? I did not change anything else.
Yes very common, you will bounce back eventually
Yes, im off 4 years still crashing, used to be a gym rat, now im crashing after 1 set of bicep curls for 2-3 days. It affects my sleep and mood i get very hyper short after and then feel braindead and lowerback pain, extra thight pelvic floor and muscle spasms. do u mean the same crash or just libido/erectile related plz let me know.
The crash was like a regular crash: lethargy (but no back or excessive muscle pain), feeling of being sick, cold feet and body, zero libido, …
But it wasn’t as bad as my first crash and intestingly 2 days after the oneset My libido got beter yet lethargy remained and numbness feeling got worse…
Now i am getting better, i stopped exercising once again…
You guys cannot imagine how many problems i am dealing with…
Investigate thyroid and Adrenal function. I get you will find some issues there.
Yes, only thing comes up in my mind is what mcibofh says or histamine cuz of lactic acid, i cant understand alot ppl can exercise (weight lift) with no probs it would be alot improvement in my life quality cuz it was my main goal in life before propecia.
I’ve checked adrenal (cortisol 24h urine) and thyroid 1/2 years ago while i had the same symptoms with exercise, cant believe my adrenals aint suffering from the stress ive had/have.
goodluck bruh
Jorne,
If I may ask, do you have muscle wastage? And are your joints, elbows and knees, constantly in pain?
Nope, i dont have any wastage. I do get pain in knees sometimes, im currently translating my story ill post it asap.
Funny, I used to be a gym rat too. Now I lost so much muscle mass that I can’t even sit on a hard chair.
That’s me exactly minus the lower back pain and muscle spams. But the affected sleep and hyper feeling after exercise ring true for me. +Libido is zero after hard exercise.
I can’t say that I’ve experienced a crash after the initial one. Symptoms fluctuate, but they don’t shift so abruptly and severely that I’d call it a crash.
Physical activity does make my muscle twitches worse (after the activity ceases, not while I’m doing it). It doesn’t seem to affect anything else though.
Your body only makes a certain amount of testosterone once the body uses that just a store not during the day in our case body crashes because there’s no more testosterone
How does the body make testosterone next time you get a hard on looking at your dick when your dick goes up and down it bounces up and down that means it’s making testosterone and sperm at the same time.
Being that the night when you go to sleep you don’t have a heart on through the night and in the morning so your body’s not making testosterone that is why you crashed because you used up all your testosterone that was in your body
I would think high cortisol would be the culprit instead of using all your testosterone. And I think making testosterone starts with cholesterol not your Johnson bopping up and down. LOL
Exercise boosts immune system… The fact that many of us get bad after it, points to the autoimmune theory …

Exactly.
Weight training causes micro lesions in muscle tissues, which is normal. But i believe that in people with PFS these lesions get inflammed because of our immune systems after propecia. So we get inflammation all over and that causes the crash.
I believe finasteride turned our immune systems to be over active. That would happen because testosterone is a natural blocker to our immune systems, it limits the action of that system and prevents it to become over active. And since we think we are suffering from some kind of androgen insensitivity, you get the deal… our immune systems must be working overtime.
