ethanol

I dn t really understand it all…but I think this could be interesting-

Any comment?

as i said i experienced a similar recovery after a party where i drunk a lot. this happened two times in my life but doesn’t happen every time i drink

Same here, alcohol was responsible for helping my below normal T into a low normal range. I was waking up with morning wood and the size throughout the day was a lot bigger. When I quit drinking again everything fell apart ironically.

I don’t buy it.

Especially since weightlifter/bodybuilders strongly advocate AGAINST alcohol usage as it potentially lowers testosterone.

I personally would not condone drinking a toxic substance like alcohol to try and ebb the symptoms of post-Fin disorder. Drinking a lot of alcohol, as way mentioned, is very hard on the liver and is overall a traumatic experience for the body.

in my opinion alchool doesn’t raise T but just play a good role about gaba trasmission and dopa booster…that’s why drinking makes feel ppl hornier.

Dude, this is what I’ve said all along since last summer. Alcohol does something to make me speak better – probably GABA, as it does decrease T. However, it’s short lived and not a permanent fix.

I still don’t quite understand the difference between GABA and dopamine?

They are different chemicals/neurotransmitters. VERY different.

Look them up.

i think the same

Folks I’m in no way advocating the use of alcohol as a temporary fix for our condition although having said this I know what it’s affect is on my physiology as I’ve been on and off the proverbial wagon a couple of times. I was diagnosed with hypogonadism almost two years ago when I wasn’t drinking and hadn’t been for two years, when I started to drink again I began to notice it’s affects on girth, morning wood, daytime wood, libido, etc, which I hadn’t experienced since I quit drinking. The second set of blood tests 6 months later revealed I was no longer hypo as my T, LH, FSH, had increased and placed me in the low normal range, I hadn’t made any other changes to my lifestyle except for drinking, not excessively mind you. I don’t believe this is a coincidence, now I haven’t had a drink in 6 months and I’m not planning on starting as I like the way I feel without it mentally that is, below is one of many latest studies that may offer an explanation in tems of why we feel the way we do after drinking.

Interestingly, men may experience increased sexual desire during heavy intoxication. This can be understood by considering the nature of the interaction between the brain and the testes. The brain regulates the pituitary gland, and the pituitary in turn regulates the testes. Testosterone production is preceded by a sequence of changes in hormone levels, and these hormones also may have some behavioral effects. The brain controls the production of a hormone (LHRH) that stimulates the pituitary gland to produce a second hormone (luteinizing hormone, or LH), which travels in the bloodstream to stimulate production of yet a third hormone, testosterone. Testosterone exerts a “feedback” effect on the brain and the pituitary. When testosterone levels are low, the brain and pituitary are signaled to produce more of the hormone that stimulates testosterone production. Consequently, when testosterone levels decrease following alcohol intake, the brain and pituitary are instructed to produce more hormones that stimulate the increased production of testosterone by the testes. Circulating levels of LH, the pituitary hormone that regulates testosterone production, are significantly increased when men are most intoxicated and when their testosterone levels are lowest. In addition to stimulating the testes to produce testosterone, the high circulating level of this pituitary hormone, LH, has a direct effect on behavior. Luteinizing hormone also stimulates brain cells that have a crucial role in the regulation of both sexual and aggressive behavior. When a surge of luteinizing hormone occurs after an alcohol-induced suppression of testosterone, it affects both the testes and the brain. Some scientists speculate that increased sexual desire following alcohol intake by males is related to the increase in luteinizing hormone secretion.

Therefore, it appears that when alcohol reduces testosterone levels, this signals the brain and the pituitary to produce more luteinizing hormone. The subsequent increase in luteinizing hormone levels stimulates more testosterone production and also stimulates increased sexual desire through its direct action on the brain.

I invite everyone to search on google something like " 5 alfa reductasy ghb gaba" …

reading the results,I think u can get all the infos about why alchol can help sexual abilities and what finasteride can do at gaba trasmission and why many ppl has progesterone-androstenedion imbalance… and how 5 ar affects gaba trasmission and than produces anxiety, brain fog, personality problems etc…and more why GHB could help in our problems .

have a look and post here what u think thanks

guys I dn’t know if u have read all this ethanol study, but this really can expalin what has happened in our brain…

When you say it like that i cant help to feel like you want someone else to read up on the subject and then explain if it has relevense.

If thats what you want, i think its better to just say so. Íf i had the knowledge and language to fully understand and explain those studies i would gladly do it for myself and others.

Ppl who are not damaged by propecia feel better and get hornier when drinking alcohol. Ppl who have anxiety feel better when they drink. Ppl who studder sometimes feel they are better when they drink etc etc.

They dont get that feeling if they continue to drink alcohol over a prolonged period of time.

I doubt alchol / ethanol is a cure or even an insight to the propecia mystery.

To me this is the same as the guy claiming to be cured by heroin. The only difference is that alcohol has a higher social acceptance amonst us.

Ive been wrong b4, but personally i dont think alchol has anything to do with our issues. Offcourse you feel better having drinks in a bar than sitting at home doing zip. Thats life!!

u’r right, but what i want to say is that maybe the root of our problem is inside the brain … and from moving there ,like a chain everything will move to the right direction .

Italy,

This is my thought as well. Fix the command center and everything will be as it should.
