Kazman- I couldn’t agree more and that’s exactly what happened to me. It took about 8-9 years for me to make the connection to Propecia, and another year before I finally REALLY admitted it to myself and joined this board. At first it was ignorance and just not tying it all together, and then it was denial since it is just so daunting- esp. if you peruse this board…

This is an excellent point. When I first got my prescription the doctor gave me a bunch of coupons for rebates. Shortly after, about this timeframe, the coupons and rebates stopped coming and the price doubled from $1 to $2 dollars a day.
Also the commercials for Propecia stopped a few years ago. They ran one calling DHT this “pesky little molecule that causes mens hair to fall out.” I remember seeing that and drawing the conclusion they wanted us to draw, that DHT just caused hair loss and had no other function. Hell, I had no idea what an androgen was at that time. Hope the attornies run that commercial during the class action suits.
