Devastated!

You should realize that you have only stopped the drug a few days ago and there is a significant chance you will recover. A general rule of thumb is to come to terms with the problem after it has persisted at least 3 months since discontinuation. Also you should know what for some men (but not 100%) the mental and mood-destabilizing side effects disappear after a few months. I know from experience how crippling they can be though.

While this is true, I have been speaking with him in PMs and he has suffered a very intense crash similar to my own. And just from observation on here the more intense the crash the less likely there will be a quick recovery. I told him I’m not trying to be negative but that he needs to be able to focus, relax and work on keeping the negative aspects of the condition at bay … While hoping for recovery.

He is literally almost a carbon copy of my crash, with the 2-3 hours of sleep per night, extreme anxiety and depression… And all the sexual crap.

Mine too, unforunatley. :0

I got some blood test results back today. These were taken about 16 days after stopping. I have now been off the tablets 21 days.

  • I can now sleep 8hrs a night but am waking up after 4hrs before falling back asleep for the next 4hrs.
  • Still have anxiety/panic attacks constantly through out the day. Less severe than the first week but still really bad. Had to take 2 weeks off work as I couldn’t leave the house because of the mental sides. I am now leaving the house and have started working again a couple hrs a day but that is a real struggle.
  • Cognitive side of things is a mess. I’m forgetting words, names and other things making it extremely hard to work. Can’t focus on anything. Am finding myself starting a sentence and forgetting what I am talking about half way through the sentence.
  • Migraines.
  • Heart Palpitations (Magnesium seems to be helping them)
  • Eye Floaters
  • Depression is up and down.
  • Muscle/Joint pain in neck and hips. Worse in the evening.
  • No Libido, No Erections Nothing…
  • Testicle pain
  • Lost 10kg. Muscle loss. I think this was mainly due to not being able to eat much in the first week.
  • Constipation
  • Dry Mouth

Things that seem to be helping me a bit.

  • Vitamin D
  • Magnesium
  • Fish Oil
  • Vital Greens

Give it time your LH looks like it’s attempting to go up. Monitor your bloods over the next couple of weeks for improvements. I know a couple of guys who’s levels went up after a month or two. Don’t stress out yet, very early days.

If this isn’t the case after a month or so, i’m making the assumption that there is a issue with your testicular feedback loop.

i too had this constant metalic taste when i first crashed, you are the only other sufferer ive heard of also having it…
