Hi, I would like to know if any of you has got positive blood tests with Chlamydia Pneumonaie.
I got some blood work done last week and I was positive to this bacteria.
I saw some posts in which “gottaproblem” said this was the main problem of all his secundary problems.
Could someone help me please? If anyone knows how can I contact him it would be great! I know some of you had problems with him, but I think he could really help me.

Many people are positive with that bacteria without ever having taken Finasteride, so it means nothing.
Even “gottaproblem” mentions this, in his own wacked out thread propeciahelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2832 (scroll down for his highlighted comments).
Not to mention it does not cause many of the side effects which are listed by Merck as being related to their own drug. Anyone that still wants to trust this banned user’s advice, be my guest, but do not discuss it on this site.
Mew, no offense mate, but if a guy claimed he recovered from treating Clamidia, then that is very valuable information and it should be allowed to be discussed IMO. I know that I had Clamidia years ago. I also suspect that I caught somthing that went medically undetected right before I really got wacked with the symptoms of Finasteride.
Bacteria can do a lot of harm inside the human body. This is somthing I am going to try and get tested for. The white discharge from the penis that I have had in the past after sitting down for long periods has gone undiagnosed. This is worth checking out.

Mew, I cant beleive im reading this. He has absolutely every right to post this whether he had pneumonae before or not. Theres every chance Finasteride has exasteperated some previous condition in all of us. In fact its very probable.
I dont know why you would want to make a dead end out of someone who clearly recovered. This makes me angry because its my recovery you may well be jeapardising by being heavy handed with your moderating.
With being a moderator of a health website of such importance, comes responsibility. Remember there have been suicides on this forum. This is serious sh*t.

J89, this “topic” has been discussed TO DEATH on this site in the past, when you were clearly on hiatus and unable to participate.
What the poster is proposing, Chlamydia Pneumoniae, is different than the STD. It is a RESPIRATORY condition, and it DOES NOT CAUSE loss of libido, penile fibrosis, loss of spontaneous erections, morning erections, erectile dysfunction, reduced ejaculate volume, prostate atrophy, depression, anxiety etc – all of which are DOCUMENTED as being attributable to Finasteride and 5AR therapy.
THINK about that for a second, and then think about what you are suggesting. Not to mention, you are also talking about the STD form of chlamydia, and there is a big difference there as well.
Dude, look… he was able to post all he wanted, and of course he did, but NONE of it was backed up by any scientific proof or studies which correlate C. Pneumonaie to our issues. When requested, he avoided the topic and proposed dangerous self-medicating advice. None of it was based on anything more than his personal opinion.
If you want to blindly trust someone like that, go right ahead, makes no difference to me. All the info is in his past posts.
Yes, there is responsibility, and it’s to try and steer people away from red herrings so they don’t waste their time, money and potentially put their health at risk from undergoing dangerous self-medications like the previous poster was suggesting. Not to mention he lied about who he was on numerous occasions, something you wouldn’t know, since you do not have access to IP addresses etc on this site.
On the contrary, no offense to you but you are the one who seems to be grasping for straws at this point and is willing to consider anything to explain your situation. It is important that we try and narrow things down to the MOST likely cause, not the least likely. See the sticky thread on Androgen Insensitivity in the THEORIES section to see where things seem to be headed. Otherwise, you could try and attribute ANYTHING to the problems from Finasteride.
The fact it, the drug is an anti-androgen, reduces androgen available to the androgen receptor, and can affect our hormone levels in a negative fashion. All of this has been well documented to cause the side effects we continue to experience. Chlamydia Pneumonaie, a common respiratory condition, has no affiliation with our side effects, nor would it cause such side effects within days of taking Finasteride as many have experienced. They are completely UNRELATED.

Mew, show me one shred of scientific proof that any of the other theories on this website caused our problems with Finasteride. There is none, and why? Because we dont know what the problem is yet. And it also might not be one single issue, it could be a separate issue for each one of us.
