Any members over 50+?

Just curious if we have older members here and what perspective they may have. I am also wondering what health issues we may have to look forward to.

Hi ,
I would be glad if you guys can name the people in this forum that got recovered. If any one who got recovered is still here and read this message , I would like to Skype with him if he may will.

Good luck everyone and thanks.

Been off 1 and half years and have done nothing but worsened…physical symptoms seem to respond to nothing…Mental sides are horrible but seem to respond to tramadol and don’t have sexual sides…

  1. Can’t say I have any health issues due to PFS aside from the PFS symptoms themselves.

I’m 53. I’ve been dealing with PFS since January 2012.

Other than my PFS issues (zero libido, ED, hypothyroidism, insomnia, depression), I have no serious health issues.

My biggest issue before PFS was Raynaud’s Syndrome, which I still have.

so 2 guys that got PFS in their 50’s ?

do you guys have any idea what your testosterone levels looked like before getting PFS?

it’s been mentioned on the solve PFS that these forums lacks guys that got PFS on their 40’s or 50’s and this point has been used to suggest that this is an indication that the problem points towards receptors. Logic being pretty simple. you take DHT inhibitor during period of time of already having high hormone levels, DHT inhibitor sky elevates T levels further while on it and receptors all get down regulated.

do you guys believe that you had higher than normal testosterone for your age before coming down with PFS?

I was 39 when I got PFS. I’m in my late 40’s now. I was a sex fiend before getting PFS.

I crashed at 45 and am now 50. Prior to ever taking my first pill, I had a solid libido from puberty until crashing in my mid-40s. I can only assume my pre-PFS T-levels were above average.

While on Fin (age 44), my libido was even higher than pre-Fin, to the point where it was concerning. Also, my complexion was oilier than at any point in my life and back acne starting appearing for the first time ever. It felt like a second round of puberty in my mid-40s, but even more intense than during my early teens.

My crash involved many symptoms, but I have since maintained a stable baseline where only chronic insomnia, low libido and ED are my persistent sides.

As of last month, my total T was 764 (241-827); however, my SHBG remains well above normal at 92 (10-57). No surprise that my free T is low’ish at 8 (3-29).

RE: Other health issues … I’ve had a cold once or twice in the past 5 years. Other than that, I have been fine (notwithstanding PFS sides mentioned above).
