An italian story to give some hope

I have read other positive stories for using Arimidex. Kemangd who suffered due to Saw Palmetto also made some progress by using Arimidex. I also want to try it but scared from it’s sides. I read it’s sides are irreversible.
Any comments or thoughts?

sps

what sides? and why ireversible?

Here is what wikipedia says about Arimidex:
Side effects:

They didn’t state whether this was reversible or not. With respect to men using it it states:

It also states for men:

How are you feeling Italy?

ok I applogise. I googled and found minor side effects. I must had confused it with other drug.
Yes I will now give it a try.

thanks a lot man. you showed us some hope

sps

Good god Striken you gave me a heart attack…

Estrogen is a player in this and possibly the only player. High estrogen in men will cause all mannor of symptoms right down the line.

Think Estrogen and DHT. We are hearing recovery storys with arimidex so try it.

…onhestly i can say i m really better.
I don t have anxiety and running thouths anymore,my body 85%of the time is relaxed and i feel confortable without all those pain in my muscles and headace all the time and my sexual abilities are always a rollercoaster but more frequently i can get strong erections with pleasure ;i still dnt understad what regulates this rollercoaster about sex and feeling tired/stressed cause really from one day to the other i feel ddifferent .
anyway in general i can say that i m really really better from what i was only 3 mouths ago … the reason ?..well,i didn’t take anything in theese mouths (no drugs/supplements) and i ve been working 12 hours each day and i always come back at home really tired an so most of the night i go to sleep at 11 or 12 am ,so what i think has helped me is the regulation of my bedtime, food and not beeing like a crazy guy always messing around .
Now my new step from 1 week is 1mg of cortison 2 times per week and i think i ll try 0,5 mg of arimidex twice a week from next week … this is not a doctor prescription and i m doin all by my self,so don’t get credits to my words cause i’m not a doctor .

Hi,

just wanted to know if everyone else has used arimidex in the meantime?
I ordered it myself but it will take some other week to arrive.

i also spoke to top steroid users and some told me to take arimidex cauz they think i have high estro

we are very different. do not go on thinking unless you have blood test. you will mess more than good.

guys I’ve been on arimidex for about a month. only real dif. I see is that I’m not anxious all the time. Don’t feel great by any stretch and no real remarkable increase in libido etc. Got blood test will see how I’m fairing, will stay with it at least for a little while. No sides, so far, testo made me kind of crazy and unbalanced. Would love to stop drugs entirely, but even six months of watching what I ate, quiting smoking and drinking, sleeping and excercise did not have me feeling any better. has anyone seen this www.gwenolsen.com (and on youtube) evidently a former Pharm rep whose neice died after taking some SSRI wrote a book talks about the skewed info from the drug companies, and (the obvious) how they look to keep you on any given drug to “manage symptoms,” I wonder if this woman would be worth contacting with our story, had a bad reaction to Zoloft herself. Just a thought, don’t know what to think these days, just have realized that from paranoia re: hair loss, I’ve been in and out of dr. offices, and on and off meds for longer then a once healthy young man should. wrong section for this, but there has got to be a way to get at the truth of these effects. Then sue the hell out of someone! Sorry know that rhetoric is useless, but come on…
anyway, on arimidex will post blood test results when I get them.

wdderbell,

Are you getting morning erections? This is very important.

not every day, unfortunately, and when I do they are kind of mechanical and don’t really incorporate the balls (you guys know the feeling) ie, testicles still feel pretty saggy and unfull. Still no real sex dreams though I have flashes (women, sometimes naked appear). It also hasn’t helped me in (combat) situations…had a date with this girl no whacking off for a week, took her home fooled around…zippo. Now maybe this is part way nerves, new girl, doesn’t know about situation…etc., but response is just not there…even took a viagra, and really not much. Not saying that this girl was ready to go necessarily, (and thankfully she had to go to a party) but if it had come to it, I don’t think it would have worked. I know about psyching yourself out etc., but there is a baseline that I still…eight years later have not regained. Also nerves are always common with someone new, but that is usually just the flip side of excitement.
If this damn cloud ever lifts I’m going on a tear till I’m sixty and get soft the way god intended.
Do you think Merck took my social life into account when they patented this stuff? — kidding natch
will see what doc (new guy by the way) has to say about my tests, but so far, no improvement with arimidex.

Yeah…I experience the same bullcrap with women…it really sucks.

ow uch arimidex are u using?m

Wd, you need to aim for morning erections. If you take arimidex and get them then they dissapear, you may be going too low on E and need to back of the Arimdex until they come back and keep adjusting the dose.

Phil from the hypogonadal forum said it took him 6 months to get his libido back and that morning erections are the first thing that came back for him. 6 months later…he got libido.

hi just startin out trying to sort myself out.

any updates on arimidex used solely to regain libido

Thx

I have been taking Arimidex for over three years to counteract the conversion of testosterone supplements to estradiol. I’d like to clear up a few misconceptions regarding its effects, particularly this previous post:

To clarify, he is referring to the effects of too much estradiol, not Arimidex/Anastrozole. This may be confusing to some people.

If you decide to take Arimidex it is important to monitor your estradiol levels in the beginning to arrive at an appropriate dosage. I think that cycling on and off Arimidex is not a good idea… there is no advantage to be gained by allowing your estradiol level to rise too high and then lowering it.

the serious issue is…do you think you can maintain the lowered estrogen when you go off arimidex again or are you commited maintaining it for a long period of time?

I wouldn’t worry about estrogen so much…I would worry about stabilizing thyroid/adrenal function/neurotransmitters first…

Retest hormones, see if you need to take testosterone(TRT), and retest estrogen. If it’s not super high, and you feel ok, you should be fine…Keep it simple.
