I feel like I have a very severe case of this. Where can I go to get help for this? Can I go to the emergency room and order an ACTH test? Would they have this at most standard hospitals?

I am not exaggerating when I say that I feel like I am dying. I think I need help now.

Go to private Dr or hospital and say you have whatever symptoms found below. Say you have been experiencing them suddenly. These symptoms are very general though. Don’t mention propecia. If you really want to get ACTH tested, you could say you have family member with Addison’s. Good luck

i have also experienced lower back pain that was 4 years ago, i thought my kidneys burnt out after crash. but its adrenals and still that adrenal pain occurs,

adrenals and thyroid working together and thats why i improved with t4.

hypoadrenalism hypothyroidism comes together

i remember my tongue started bleeding with a very low pressure in the hut bath. the bleeding took 3.5-4 hours to stop,
i got to doc and doc gave me -> “adrenalin ampul” to press on bleeding area.

I have been having lower back pain suddenly as well. I’ve never had this before. When I go to get up from my chair, my lower back cracks several times. This has never happened before. Also had hip joint pain.

Recently got the Adrenal Fatigue book in the mail by James Wilson. This seems like a very good book. I just started it, but I think it will be thorough and helpful.

There’s a test in the Adrenal Fatigue book, which allows you to self-diagnose yourself with adrenal fatigue. I have severe adrenal fatigue. There’s a question test, and then three physical tests for adrenal fatigue in the book.

I was reading up on Dr. Wilson, who wrote the book. He seems like he would be a good guy to get on our PFS Foundation team. He seems very knowledgeable about adrenals and is willing to look beyond modern conventional medicine, which is necessary to address PFS I think. He has 3 doctorate degrees, so he’s well qualified:

he would be an excellent guy for the organisation, you should email him. adrenal/thyroid problem is till now still one of the most logical explanation of our condition. because of the normal numbers that people are getting back we are not considering it as an option. but it’s well known that these problems don’t necessary show up with normal blood tests. if someone with expertise about adrenals could test a few people, also with hair mineral analysis for example that would be great.are you going to do the acth test? would be an excellent way to see if we got some problems there.

I would really like to do the acth test, but there’s no way I could convince a doctor to allow me to do this. Not in Massachusetts anyways.

I’m not sure if you can order this from a private lab if you’re outside MA. If so, I’d be curious to hear about what people’s results were with it.

I just took an at-home urine sample test, and it looked like my bilirubin was at 2(35). Not sure if I have a kidney/liver problem now. These were the results:

LEU (leukocytes): 70+
NIT: normal
URO: normal
PRO: normal
PH: 6.5
BLO: 5-10 (green spec indicates non-hemolyzed prythrocytes … whatever that is)
SG: 1.025
KET: normal
BIL: 2(35)
GLU: normal
