A Swede who has been sick since 2013

My doctor’s wants me to eat lergigan (Prometazin) I just want to make sure if it’s not dangerous? I’m actually at a mental hospital right now and they already tried to give me SSRI even tho I tried to explain. So I refused. When I googled it’s said it’s antihistamine and people on this forum seams to give different answers?

Try baking soda…

Hmm i definitely going to try out that but like I wrote right now it’s not up for me, I’m at the hospital!

Can someone please answer me if they know anything about antihistamine?

My doctor’s making me take them now It’s called Prometazin (lergigan) is this dangerous for us??

I’m wondering how to manage Joint pain in general and specially in my fingers. My fingers starting to change in shape as well and being extremely sour.

It’s even hard for me to have all my fingers stretched. It’s very similar to Dupuytren’s contracture diesese and actually people who suffer from that, often time suffer with Peyronie’s diesese as well? I remembered people Describing finger/hand and foot problem on this site as well but I can’t find it right now.

to treat what symptom?

I don’t understand the question, I’m describing changes that happening now with my fingers having joint pain and changes in sizes and turning. I am wondering if anyone else have the same problem and what to do

I don’t have these kind of changes in my hands but my fingers are definitelly super stiff, when I move them slowly they are scraping like an old hinge. It is super disturbing that feeling.

That’s sound somewhat similar, have you had this at the beginning or did this occurred right at the beginning of PFS?

I started to experience this this year and I suffered with PFS since 2012.

I got this recently… apparently I am getting worse in this department. After my first crash I wasn’t that bad, had only bad knee, that probably could’ve been developed before PFS, after my second crash I started taking some vitamins K2, D3, some other supps and I susspect that these got me fucked as shortly after that I developed bad popping joints all over my body, ever since then I am going downhill and dunno what to do seriously! Supplements in our case are double-edged sword… I am pretty sure that most of the cases here that have gotten worse are in this condition because of these vitamins and supplements…

Vitamins D3 & K2 are known to shoot E2 especially in large doses, which results in low E2. This causes popping and cracking dry joints among many other symptoms.

Have your E2 level checked.

Thanks for the info! Do you know how to raise your e2 in a natural way?

Yeah man, it came up within range
17-Beta OESTRADIOL 87 pmol/L < 192
Strange isn’t it?

@tisho1012 Man, your E2 (87 pmol/L) is about 23 pg/mL. That’s low-normal. Most men would usually feel great around this value (provided that testosterone is HIGH-NORMAL), but then there’re always those other men that function best with E2 about ~30 pg/mL.

Your symptoms should always dictate your ideal level.

E2 is one of those tricky hormones to dial in. Logically speaking, increasing total Testosterone would lead to increased conversion to Estrogen through aromatase enzyme. Also, healthy adrenals producing optimal DHEA-S would lead to increased E2.

That said, see if you’re taking the following:

Zinc. 12mg a day is ideal. High intake reduces E2
B-vitamins. Most multis contain way too much RDAs, which lower E2
Green tea. Increased consumption leads to reduced E2 by ~20%
Fish oil. High dosages also affects E2
Fat soluble Vitamins A, D & K
& of course all Aromatase inhibitors

There’re some anecdotal reports claiming that SSRI’s also affect E2 but I need to research this.

Thanks for the answer @doomed80
Do you think that the popping joints issue could be caused by low T too? My last total T reading was 11.2 nmol/l, and I am 36 years old… I should have more like 20 or so. Next week I am getting my Bioavailable Testosterone done too. I am wondering what will come up though…

@tisho1012

Yep, I do agree that you first need to get that T up in the late teens/early 20ish range to feel your best.

Frankly speaking, TT is all I ever needed to work with. Never bothered with bioavailable T under “most” circumstances. I see many, many Men here and elsewhere with undue worries about FT, Bioavailable T, Pregnenolone, Progesterone et Al. These could all be pivotal markers in “isolated” cases that warrant testing, however.

From my personal experience: LH, TT, E2, AM Cortisol, DHEA-S, TSH, FT4, FT3, Body Temp, Prolactin, Liver, Kidneys, Vit.D, Ferritin, & CBC can be used to draw many conclusions and setup way-forward. Excuse my lengthy intro.

Back to your query, hard to say if popping joints is caused by low T. That said, E2 is suspect zero in my book. As I said, your current level is in a good range for “most” men given that other markers mentioned above are optimal, but try and raise your TT to drive up your E2.

I’m very optimistic this would resolve your issue.

No worries about the lengthy intro @doomed80 , the more info the better
I am trying to get TRT here in UK but the GPs are assholes. When I did my last TT blood test I went to a private laboratory and paid for it, when I got the 11.2 reading I was adviced to check my FT, I went for the Bioavailable T as the difference in the price was not big anyways. I was told that I might need TRT from the doctors in there, hope I could get it through them without having to deal with those dumb GPs! I have been to an andrologist too like an year ago, when I told him that my T at this time was 13nmol/l he got surprised and told me, quote “Oh, this is not normal for your age!” Then I did blood tests again to confirm that, the TT came up exactly as I told him, 13nmol/L, the LH was 2.4U/L, the FSH was 3.7U/L, a week later after that I got a letter where this guy was saying that everything is fine with me and they don’t have to dig deeper into this  WTF! So yeah, here in UK is big struggle to get TRT…

I don’t get it, I had some specific improvement and in the same time extremely down period and now I feel totally hopeless. Nothing gets better really for me. My muscles are waisting and my skin is loose and fat on my ass hips and stomach really ache. I went totally downhill today, the loonlieness kills me the most.

All My Friends getting children and I’m trying to hang on to people who still have some time but most parts I’m by myself. I’ve tried girlfriends but it’s impossible because my dick doesn’t work. The worst part is that I am not me anymore. My only hope the last year’s is this “incredible” Baylor study and the rumours already stated that they are going to just release one part. Man my shoulders totally disappeared, yesterday so friend told me that Iooked like I had a chicken breast… What the fuck happend?
