19 year old, took 7 pills, it's been almost a year

How is your sleep? Deep and restful or not satisfying? The latter is a commonality in many of us - you may be interested in a sleep study or treating that as ithappens has.

Hey anonnn1,

I’m terribly sorry to hear that, I really am.

so your libido or erection strength has not gotten better at all?

since those 7 years, have you gotten all hormone test and tried seeing other Dr’s before to help yourself??

As much as i hate this drug, I can only say one thing. No matter what, I was going to take this drug, I know that. If not at 19, my hair loss, which I looked at in the mirror constantly, would have bothered me eventually to the point where I would have taken this drug some months or years down the road. I can’t blame my Dr. for this.

Hello

my sleep is perfectly fine.

My only problems that bugs me is my erections are weak, VERY low libido, and less semen and water semen.

When I get horny in a day, I have to really concentrate and think about it and it begins (do get spontaneous erections then), but it slips away quick and goes low.

I will admit that I have A LOT OF ANXIETY AS I STRESS OVER MY COLLEGE STUDIES IF IT AIN’T NEAR PERFECT AND I FOLLOW A STRICT DIET EVERYDAY. Therefore, I pull MANY ALL NIGHTERS and stress constantly. That definitely was the reason for my early hair loss. I don’t have a good sleep pattern, but I sleep fine.

for everyone, I will see Dr. Irwin Goldstein in one month as I am right next to his office coincidentally. I want him to test everything hormones (blood work) and hopefully find there is one imbalance or irregularity that he can target and hopefully when he finds it, it will help all back (or close) to normal.

If not something like that, then hopefully he can find the (a) reason…

I’ll keep you guys up to date as I work with him.

Dr. Goldstein is one of the few who is against Propecia being prescribed for hair loss, especially young people. If i could ask you a favor, please talk to him, even briefly, if there is anything he can do to draw attention to this mess, and avoid more young guys like you to take the drug. I saw a doctor who used to work with Dr. Goldstein, Dr. Munarriz in Boston, when i explained to him what happened, he tapped on my shoulder and said worried “one more Propecia victim”. So they know what is going on. It has been 3 years since this, and i keep seeing more young guys falling into this trap, just like i did.

Hey man,

will do. I look to make man visits to him to get to the bottom of this and hopefully he can shoot out some articles or messages to the medical community (as he is a well known and respected Dr).

just so you know, I e-mailed his receptionist that I’d be coming and the reason I’d be coming for (i told her my side effects, all of them). She responded with this:

“Dr. Goldstein only treats men and women with sexual dysfunction, and propecia is one of the causes of erectile dysfunction. Yes, he does treat men with ED after taking propecia. When you return to the US please call our office to arrange for your appointment as well as a free courtesy call before hand in order to maximize your visit.”

I have a question, and I’m new to this (only 11 months in), so forgive me if I’m wrong. If it’s been 3 years (and more years for other men on this forum), how come you didn’t try contacting these Drs??

Is it that they are in reality not that helpful with the problem and I should be so optimistic??

I’m really looking forward that he will find some solutions to my problem. This Dr. has dedicated his life time and research to specifically ED and it’s relation to the body. I feel as though he can come up with something that will be me closer to normal if not normal.

What do you think??

Hi,
I did try to have an appointment with doctor Goldstein at the time. He was taking some time off, and wasn’t taking new patients, so i was directed to Dr. Munarriz in Boston. He was nice and heard me carefully and believed me. But he was also very honest saying that he didn’t know how to help me. I look foward to hear about your appointment with him.

I saw him as well…Couldn’t help me either. He tried but pretty much gave up…

I think it would be better if everyone saw Dr. Crisler. The more patients he sees, the more patterns he can observe, the better results we MAY get.
Nothing is for certain, but it seems like the guy wants to help us out and cares about the situation.

Plus all the data he can collect on us…Think for a minute.

Hey anonnn1,

do you mean you saw Dr. Munarriz in Boston like correiovip did, or you went and saw Dr. Goldstein??

If you saw Goldstein, could you breifly say what he did and tried on you and what was the results?/
