Well I never underestimated placebo effect but, first day i took the pill at night, later woke up normally by noon I went out then I noticed that I got extremely aroused by females around me, I couldn’t understand what happened then I remembered that I took the pill that night I met my girl as soon as I saw her I got full erection for half an our. Penile sensitivity retuned to normal immediately every touch caused pleasure, Latter day I was able to achieve 2nd orgasm after 30 minutes, before that I have to fast for sex for four days and have to take 20 mg cialis then may be I can have sex for half an hour and it was sufficient for me for weeks.

With ai primal male urge to sex have returned. Porn started to arouse me again, even I started to get aroused from normal women it was like second adolescence, unfortunately even that I have full control over my orgasms erectile effect was inconsistent some times I can come 5 times but with a very soft erection.

If it was placebo I expected that erections should be normalized too… with dotinex cabergoline opposite has happened I got normal erections and ejaculatory function but pleasureless orgasms… though I expected more reduced refractory period yet eventually I got improvements on that sides too but they were not like ai.

Also ai side effects were serious joint pains were incredible but libido gains let me to carry those effects for 6 months then mild jaundice happened and I quit from aromasin.

This is a very long read with 2400+ posts. Anybody can tell me what happened with op? Did it work? Anybody else try it?

There are more reports that people recovered with Proviron. I have Kind of PFS for 15 years and it would be a miracle if I could at least enjoy the rest of my life. It’s not fun to have a Libido every 4 weeks. Then you ejaculate and feel no desire for 4 weeks again.

Yeah he recovered, but documented the rest of his journey on solvepfs. The website no longer exists. @mcibofh went a similar route to him using test, thyroid, corticosteroids etc.

I got my results here Got my blood results today 7/11

Testosterone and DHT are pretty normal/high. But I dont have this desire for sex that I had before Finasteride. I have to actively think about how to have sex with a nice woman and how it feels sliding in etc. Then I get some kind of libido. But I remember, before fin, it was enough to see a girl in a short skirt and my thoughts gone wild. Nowadays I can only achieve this desire if I had no orgasm for 3-4 weeks. Stop watching porn also helps a bit. Porn does not make me horny. But when I stop watching porn, I think the brain is missing something and I start to get a bit of libido.

I asked my doc today about Proviron. He was ready to prescribe it for me. But unfortunately it´s not available in Germany anymore. So I have to see if I can get it in Turkey.

Im looking forward to your Proviron experiment. Im from Turkey/Germany. In Turkey, you can buy Proviron without prescription in pharmacies. @Unknownuser

PFS is not the absence or otherwise deficiency of androgens in the body (even though there is symptom overlap with hypogonadism) and many PFS patients present normal or unremarkable blood test readings. Contrary to conventional endocrinological wisdom, supraphysiological doses of androgens in PFS patients often produces no change or, conversely, a worsening in their symptoms. It is suspected that it is a problem with the androgen receptor, not androgen levels, in PFS.

Well brother in The end guy who started this topic agreed temporarily recovery with proviron but later he changed to testosterone plus anastrazole he claimed that this boosted his natural 5 alpha reductase through channeling more testosterone substrate to enzyme…

Anyway when I picked up I only used aromatase inhibitors and got almost 100 percent recovery on sensitivity and crazy libido. (With heavy sides of course) after 6 months of almost normal life I had to quit because of mild jaundice.

Then I tried Cabergoline and it fixed ed!

I dropped it until I got consultation with psychiatrist but I keep it under my hand for emergencies.

Today I’ve started Cyproheptadine.

Well luckily I dont have ed and can get hard. Only problem is I dont have much Libido. Might also come from depression. But what ever it is, did not have it before finasteride.

In December I had a 3-4 day full recovery after 15 years of PFS kind of symptoms. I had a Libido, oily skin and felt the male power. Took Dhea and pregnenolone. Unfortunately it lasted only a few days. Now I take it again with no effect.

Sad to hear he not recovered from Proviron. Was planning to start taking it soon because now I am in Turkey and probably can get my hands on.

Also was considering clomid because it’s very easy to get here. But I read it has lots of sides.

And at the end, we landed here because of taking a drug. So it’s a bit crazy to try to heal it with another drug. Who knows how that harms us permanent?

If you‘ll try serms consider tamoxifen it has better side effect profile when you compare with clomid.
Aromasin also an alternative but either it makes you hyper sexual or makes you extremely depressed it is a gamble and dangerous one…
proviron works for the most but will it cure permanently ? For some guys did for most only worked as long as they took. And for some made things worse, it is in my list but I have never tried it.

Cypro is really heavy … first two days I have been knocked out, literally…
I used to take First generation anti histamines regularly on large doses.
I can take 50 mg doxylamine easily it only makes me moderately sleepy but this even in 4 mg completely knocked me down, man, I had one of the best sleeps of my life for several days, dreams were also fantastic like movie with deep narrative…
3rd day I tried to explore sexual effects I got no improvement on Erectile strength but I can achieve orgasm and it is definitely not a dull orgasm. Refractory period is also seems to be shortened, also I have restoration of post orgasmic fatigue (being sleepy after ejaculation) which I lost decade ago.
I’ve tired lots compounds this effect is unique to cypro ( for now ) I will continue to test For several days and let you know I want to eliminate placebo effect as much as possible so I will give it a time(though I expected steel erections like cabergoline but I did not felt any difference on erectile strength or brain dick connection)
Other effects was, in 4th day I hit by weird hunger “I can eat whole pizza and felt hunger after two hours” and a little bit agitated since third day.

Look up PCT, etc.

Bodybuilders and people with hypogonadism take clomid, HCG, nolvadex,… to get better. They pretty much have the same symptoms as we.

What will you do to recover then?

Ah shit (and good). I just realized I am in the wrong thread. There is another thread where op recovered with 200mg Proviron daily for 7 weeks and than stop cold turkey.

@Trump_1776 I have sustained mood elevation, I also have increased mental clarity ( I have almost total remission on adhd symptoms), last two days my libido really enhanced yet nothing changed on erectile function. (Not on good side or bad side).
My orgasms are really satisfying I can give credit on that side I also feel like sensitivity enhanced.
Despite anti-serotonergic and anti-cholinergic effects I absolutely have no anxiety or depressive symptoms. I am having best sleeps of my life every night I have vivid Hollywood quality dreams.
Sometimes I notice that I am in a dream that’s when I went on matrix mode :slight_smile:

If anyone wants to try this please give it a week or two.

I can recommend this to our post SSRI buddies, for pfs I think it helps but not as much as dopamine agonists or hormonal medication.

@Trump_1776 my short term memory seems restored I do not lost things, I have excellent executive functions, I am more organized also my libido is really good late ejaculation problem seems solved even I suspect that I ejaculate too early also orgasmic feeling normalized refractory period reduced. I am Able to achieve climax easily. Erections are good but sustaining them is hard still requires intense mental concentration.

I will start mph after this but, I can say that, this is good for brain fog, libido, refractory period, and penile sensitivity “for me” unfortunately I can not recommend this solely for ED not much of a help on that side, cabergoline works way more better for Ed.

Worst side effect is intense drowsiness Even if I take cyproheptadine at night it makes really hard to wake up.

What time of day do you take the cypro? I have some but I only trialled it a tiny bit (it made me feel a bit stupid (I think low choline) and I was worried about needing it long term to sleep if I carried on). I think hunger is one of the known side effects.

Ok sounds very good! But my brain is so fucked up, I can not remember whats your dose? How long did you take it? And are we even talking about proviron here?

EDIT: I just remembered I felt great on Boron (Borax) and it started some recovery process 2 years ago. With some crashes between. Unfortunately I stopped it a while ago and took some 5ar inhibitors. Took 50mg zinc daily for 6 weeks in May and it took 4 weeks to recover partly from that. Had zero morning wood and libido for about 10 weeks. Now I think the zinc damage is recovered. I will start Borax again and see what it will do. Here is more to read about. I think it regenerates the HPA axis.

I think Borax is totaly underestimated. As I wrote many times here, I got heavy acne on my back about 2 years ago, while it was super clean for 20+ years due to accutane use.

Lets just dont say recovery. But it did something. It balances out hormones I guess.
