I’ve just awoken from another short nap due to insomnia. Yesterday I noticed my scrotum shrinking, and it’s already notably smaller again early this morning.
Does anyone know of anything that might help prevent further shrinkage or possibly reverse it? I’m doubtful, but I’d still like to ask.
I initially planned to wait and see, just making diet changes (avoiding notable 5AR inhibitors) and cutting out skin and hair products due to potential endocrine disruptors, which I’ve already done. But with this new symptom, I’m starting to consider more serious options.
My main questions (if you can only answer some please do, any help / suggestions are appreciated)
-
Is there anything that can prevent further testicular/scrotal shrinkage?
-
Should I wait longer before trying any interventions?
-
How long can I wait before trying an intervention and the testicles/ scrotum being permanently shrunken (if not already)?
-
I’m prone to gynecomastia (had surgery for it as a teen). My chest and nipples have been tingling for days, and I’m worried it’s returning. Could treatments to protect my testes/scrotum worsen gynecomastia? If so are there any additional measures I need to take to prevent this?
-
Is there anything I can do to prevent gynecomastia on its own, if I decide to not do an intervention for my testicles/ scrotum for whatever reason (potentially too risky side effects, decide to wait longer).
-
What does this mean if my testicles are shrinking? Is my body shutting down production of testosterone? Will I start to lose muscle mass and feminise in features?
Extra note:
- No noticeable penile shrinkage (yet) while flaccid; I have complete ED, so I can’t tell about erect size.
I’ll contact my doctor on Monday, hopefully he takes me seriously this time. I’d like to go to him with some potential options, so any insights from those with firsthand experience would be much appreciated. I know what helps one person can harm another, so I’ll bear that in mind if I decide to take any advice.
Thank you
